Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 2 Margadadi Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi pada saat kegiatan pra penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas IV ini terlihat dari hasil tes belajar yang masih dibawah KKM. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Margadadi Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Margadadi Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental menggunakan desain penelitian pretest postest control grup desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV sebanyak 61 peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas IVA dan IVB di SDN 2 Margadadi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu yang digunakan untuk menentukkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 25 soal yang telah di uji validasi, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan uji daya pembeda. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis uji-t (uji sampel t test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC ini minat membaca peserta didik menjadi lebih baik, berani menjawab pertanyaan, selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung peserta didik pada masing-masing kelompok saling mengeluarkan pendapat dalam berdiskusi, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompoknya serta menumbuhkan kreatifitas ide pengetahuan sehingga daya ingat pada proses pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pada model pembelajaran RADEC memiliki pengaruh yang positif pada hasil belajar pelajaran IPAS dikelas IV SDN 2 Margadadi Kecamatan Jati Agung Lampung Selatan. The underlying problem during this pre-research activity was the low science and social studies learning outcomes of class IV students, as seen from the learning test results which were still below the KKM. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the RADEC learning model on the science and social studies learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 2 Margadadi, Jati Agung District, South Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the RADEC learning model on the science and social studies learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 2 Margadadi, Jati Agung District, South Lampung. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental type of research using a pretest posttest control group research design. The population in this research was class IV with 61 students. The sample for this research is classes IVA and IVB at SDN 2 Margadadi. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling technique, namely a technique for determining samples with certain considerations used to determine the experimental class and control class. This research instrument uses a test in the form of 25 multiple choice questions which have been tested for validation, reliability, level of difficulty and discrimination test. Research data was analyzed using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing t-test (sample t test). The results of the research show that by implementing the RADEC learning model, students' interest in reading becomes better, they have the courage to answer questions, during the learning process students in each group express opinions in discussions, present the results of their group discussions and foster creativity in knowledge ideas so that they can remember that the learning process can improve student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the RADEC learning model has a positive influence on the learning outcomes of science and science lessons in class IV at SDN 2 Margadadi, Jati Agung District, South Lampung.
