Abstract

ABSTRAK PEMANFAATAN EKSTRAK DAUN KAYU PUTIH (Melaleuca leucandra ) DAN DAUN ALPUKAT ( Persea americana ) SEBAGAI INSEKTISIDA ALAMI UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN LARVA NYAMUK Aedes aegypti Oleh : Farhan Insektisida Adalah bahan-bahan kimia bersifat racun yang dipakai untuk membunuh serangga, yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan, perkembangan, tingkah laku, perkembang biakan dan kesehatannya, salah satu insektisida alami dari daun alpukat dan daun kayu putih yang merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas ekstra daun kayu putih (Melaleuca leucandra) dan daun alpukat (Persea americana ) sebagai insektisida alami untuk mengendalikan larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta jenis metode yang akan di gunakan yaitu eksperimental. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan berupa rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu dengan aquadest sebagai kontrol negatif ( NK ), (P1) 10% ( 10 ml / 100 ml ), (P2) 15 % ( 15 ml / 100 ml ), dan (P3) 20% ( 20 ml / 100 ml ) ekstrak daun kayu putih ( Melaleuca laucandra ) dan daun alpukat (Persea americana ) dan larutan Abate ( temefos 1% ) atau (1 ml / 100 ml ) sebagai ( KP ) kontrol positif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Ekstrak dari daun kayu putih ( Melaleuca leucandra ) dan daun alpukat ( Persia americana ) dengan kosentrasi 10%, 15%, 20% memiliki pengaruh dalam membunuh larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti.Dalam membunuh larva nyamuk Aedes aegpyti yang paling optimal adalah dengan ekstrak dengan konsentrasi 20%. Kunci : Daun Alpukat, ekstrak kayu putih, insektisida alami. iv ABSTRACT UTILIZATION OF EUCAPHY LEAF EXTRACT (Melaleucaleucandra) AND AVOCADO LEAF (Persea americana) ASNATURAL INSECTICIDE TO CONTROL Aedes aegypti MOSQUITO LARVAE By: Farhan Insecticides are toxic chemicals used to kill insects, which affect their growth, development, behavior, reproduction and health, one of the natural insecticides from avocado leaves and eucalyptus leaves which are one type of productive plant. This study aims to determine the activity of eucalyptus leaf extract (Melaleuca leucandra) and avocado leaf extract (Persea americana) as a natural insecticide to control Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. The type of research conducted using a quantitative approach and the type of method to be used is experimental. The research design used was a completely randomized design with 5 treatments, namely with distilled water as a negative control (NK), (P1) 10% (10 ml / 100 ml), (P2) 15% (15 ml / 100 ml), and (P3) 20% (20 ml / 100 ml) eucalyptus leaf extract (Melaleuca laucandra) and avocado leaf extract (Persea americana) and Abate solution (temefos 1%) or (1 ml / 100 ml) as (KP) positive control. The results of the research in show that extracts from eucalyptus leaves (Melaleuca leucandra) and avocado leaves (Persia americana) with concentrations of 10%, 15%, 20% have an effect on killing Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae.
