Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan zaman mengharuskan peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis, namun ternyata kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa di sekolah dasar masih rendah. Pra penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan masih tergolong rendah. Sehingga peneliti bertujuan melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis peserta didik pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan secara spesifik yakni pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan desain penelitian membandingkan kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol, kelas eksperimen yakni kelas IVC yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik serta kelas kontrol yakni kelas IVB berjumlah 29 peserta didik, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang telah dilakukan uji validitas, reabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda. Teknik analisis data yakni menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata dan menguji hipotesis dengan Independent Sample T Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan dua rata-rata pada kelas eskperimen menunjukkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran experiential learning dari pada kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan nilai Sig. (2-Tailed) < P Value yaitu 0,00 < 0,05. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Pada siswa kelas 4 di SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo, Lampung Selatan. Pre-research provides information that the Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo, South Lampung are still relatively low. So the researcher aims to conduct research to determine whether there is an influence of the Experiential Learning learning model on the Critical Thinking Skills of students in fourth�grade students at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo, South Lampung. The research method used specifically is a quantitative approach and a Quasi Experimental research type with a research design comparing the experimental class with the control class, the experimental class is class IVC with 30 students and the control class is class IVB with 29 students, while the instrument used is a mathematical critical thinking ability test that has been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and discriminatory power. The data analysis technique uses a two-average difference test and tests the hypothesis with the Independent Sample T Test. The results of the study showed that the difference between the two averages in the experimental class showed a higher value using the experiential learning model than the control class using the contextual teaching and learning model. The results of the hypothesis test with the Sig. (2-Tailed) <P Value, namely 0.00 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Experiential Learning model on the Critical Thinking Ability of Mathematical Students in Grade 4 at SD Negeri 2 Jatimulyo, South Lampung.
