Abstract

AN ANALYSIS OF ASPECTS OF SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING IN THE FILM ENTITLED THE BLIND SIDE: EVOLUTION OF GAME BY JOHN LEE HANCOCK ABSTRACT BY: WAHYUNI The aimed of this research are, 1.) To know about what are the aspects of Social Emotional Learning in the film entitled The Blind Side: Evolution of Game by John Lee Hancock. 2.) To find out the percentage result of each of aspects of Social Emotional Learning in the film entitled The Blind Side: Evolution of Game by John Lee Hancock. This research is the Descriptive Qualitative Research. The data collected by using observation and documentation as the research instruments. The data analyzed through a series of stages following the data analysis model by Miles and Huberman, they are: Data Collecting, Data Reducing, Data Display, and Drawing Conclusion. The researcher took the film entitled The Blind Side: Evolution of Game by John Lee Hancock as the primary source and journals as the secondary source of research. The findings of this research are, 1.) The aspects of Social Emotional Learning found in the film entitled The Blind Side: Evolution of Game by John Lee Hancock are Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skill, and Responsible Decision Making. 2.) The percentage result of aspects of Social Emotional Learning that found are: Self Awareness found as much as 23%. Self�Management found as much as 7%. Social Awareness found as much as 31%. Relationship Skill found as much as 33%. Then Responsible Decision Making found as much as 6%. Key words: Aspects of Social Emotional Learning, "The Blind Side" film. iv AN ANALYSIS OF ASPECTS OF SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING IN THE FILM ENTITLED THE BLIND SIDE: EVOLUTION OF GAME BY JOHN LEE HANCOCK ABSTRACT BY: WAHYUNI Tujuan dari penelitian ini diantaranya, 1.) untuk mengetahui aspek Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional apa saja yang ada dalam film berjudul The Blind Side: Evolution of Game karya John Lee Hancock. 2) Untuk menemukan hasil presentase dari masing masing aspek Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional dalam film berjudul The Blind Side: Evolution of Game karya John Lee Hancock. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat penelitian berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Data di analisis melalui serangkaian tahapan berdasarkan model analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman, yaitu diantaranya pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Peneliti mengambil sebuah film berjudul The Blind Side: Evolution of Game by John Lee Hancock sebagai sumber utama serta beberapa jurnal sebagai sumber data pendukung penelitian. Penemuan penelitian ini diantaranya, 1) Aspek-aspek Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional yang ditemukan dalam film berjudul The Blind Side Evolution of Game karya John Lee Hancock yaitu, Kesadaran diri, Manajemen diri, Kesadaran sosial, Kemampuan membangun hubungan, dan Pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggungjawab, 2.) Hasil presentase dari masing-masing aspek Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional yang ditemukan yaitu diantaranya: Kesadaran diri ditemukan sebanyak 23%. Manajemen diri ditemukan sebanyak 7%. Kesadaran Sosial ditemukan sebanyak 33%. Lalu Pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggungjawab sebanyak 6%. Kata kunci: Aspek-aspek Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional, Film "The Blind Side".
