Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan belum mampu memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran dan kurang memahami materi yang diajarkan. Guna mengatasi masalah tersebut pendidik perlu mengikutsertakan peserta didik secara aktif dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas V di SDN 24 tumijajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi eskperiment dan desain penelitian adalah pretest-postest control design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi sebanyak 77 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling secara purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble, sedangkan kelas VC sebagai kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes berupa essay pretest dan posttes, untuk soal pretest berjumlah 9 soal dan soal posttest berjumlah 11 soal dengan instrumen tes sebelum digunakan dilakukan pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda instrumen. Untuk analisis data digunakan uji prasyarat analisis, yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf pengujian signifikansi 5% (0,05). Berdasarkan pengujian uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas diperoleh bahwa sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen atau memiliki varian-varian yang sama, dan hasil hipotesis (uji-t) pemahaman konsep matematika pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0, 007 yang memiliki nilai lebih kecil dari nilai = 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe scramble terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik kelas V di SDN 24 Tumijajar. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Scramble, Pemahaman Konsep Matematika iii ABSTRACT The problem behind this research is the low results of students' understanding of mathematical concepts because the learning model used has not been able to maximize the learning process. Students are less active in learning and do not understand the material being taught. In order to overcome this problem, educators need to actively involve students by implementing the scramble type cooperative learning model. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the scramble type cooperative learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts of class V students at SDN 24 Tumijajar. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi�experimental research method and the research design is a pretest�posttest control design. This research was conducted in the 2023/2024 academic year. The population is 77 students. Sampling used a non�probability sampling technique using purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations to determine the experimental class and control class. Class VB is an experimental class that is treated using the scramble type cooperative learning model, while class VC is a control class that is treated using a conventional learning model. The research instrument uses tests in the form of pretest and posttest essays, for the pretest questions there are 9 questions and the posttest questions there are 11 questions. Before use, the test instrument is tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power of the instrument. For data analysis, analysis prerequisite tests were used, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test with a significance testing level of 5% (0.05). Based on the normality test and homogeneity test, it was found that the samples were normally distributed and homogeneous or had the same variants, and the results of the hypothesis (t-test) of understanding of mathematical concepts in the experimental class obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.007 which has a value smaller than is rejected. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the scramble type cooperative learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts of class V students at SDN 24 Tumijajar.
