Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan perpustakaan digital untuk meningkatkan minat baca peserta didik kelas IV SD/MI dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu jumlah buku yang tersedia belum memadai dengan jumlah peserta didik, buku yang tersedia diperpustakaan belum terupdate, kurang menariknya perpustakaan konvensional untuk peserta didik serta peserta didik kesulitan menemukan sebuah informasi pada perpustakaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan, kelayakan, respon dan efektivitas penggunaan perpustakaan digital di kelas IV SD/MI. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Validasi dilakukan oleh tim validator yang terdiri dari ahli pustaka dan ahli IT (Informasi dan Teknologi). Uji lapangan terdiri dari uji skala kecil yang terdiri dari 21 peserta didik kelas IV MIN 10 Bandar Lampung sedangkan uji skala besar yang terdiri dari 44 peserta didik SD N 97 Krui dan MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. Hasil penelitian pengembangan perpustakaan digital untuk meningkatkan minat baca kelas IV SD/MI menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan oleh tim validator oleh ahli pustaka dan ahli IT (Informasi dan Teknologi) mendapatkan persentase 93% dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”. Respon peserta didik “Sangat Tinggi” dari hasil perhitungan ujicoba skala kecil dengan persentase 89% “Sangat Tinggi” dan hasil perhitungan ujicoba skala besar dengan persentase 92% “Sangat Tinggi”. Dengan demikian produk yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dapat digunakan dan menunjang dalam proses pembelajaran. Validation is carried out by a team of validators consisting of library experts and IT (Information and Technology) experts. The field test consisted of a small scale test consisting of 21 class IV students at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung, while the large scale test consisted of 44 students at SD N 97 Krui and MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. The results of research on digital library development to increase reading interest in class IV SD/MI show that the level of feasibility by the validator team of librarians and IT (Information and Technology) experts obtained a percentage of 93% with the criteria "Very Feasible." The student response was "very high" from the results of small-scale trial calculations with a percentage of 89% "very high" and the results of large-scale trial calculations with a percentage of 92% "very high."
