Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh mengetahui hubungan antara nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dan pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik. Apakah benar jika peserta didik yang memiliki nilai moderasi beragama tinggi akan berbanding lurus dengan karakter religius yang baik. Moderasi beragama memfokuskan sikap keseimbangan beragama, menjauhi ekstremisme, baik dalam bentuk radikalisme maupun liberalisme. Permasalah pokok yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat hubungan yang signfikan antara nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dengan karakter religius peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dimana data yang di dapatkan berasal dari penyebaran kuesioner pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian jenis korelasional simetris yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dengan karakter religius peserta didik kelas V SDN 3 Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan konstribusi terhadap pengertian lebih mendalam mengenai pengaruh moderasi beragama terhadap pembentuan karakter religius serta memberikan masukan bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendorong nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 peserta didik yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik probability sample. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner moderasi beragama dan karakter religius. Uji instrument pada penelitian ini menggunakan rumus person product moment dengan program SPSS V.25 for windows dan untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,778 bertanda positif atau searah. Kemudian diperoleh p�value = 0,000 korelasi atau hubungan antara dua variabel tersebut signifikan pada taraf 0,05. Hal ini bisa dilihat dengan adanya koefisien korelasi. Nilai tersebut dibandingkan dengan rtabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% untuk N= 80 DAN df = N-2 = 78 diperoleh angka 0,2199 sehingga terlihat bahwa rhitung > rtabel atau 0,778 > 0,2199, sehingga H0 ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dengan karakter religius peserta didik. Semakin tinggi internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, semakin kuat karakter religius yang tercemin pada peserta didik. Religious moderation focuses on an attitude of religious balance, avoiding extremism, both in the form of radicalism and liberalism. The main problem taken in this research is whether there is a significant relationship between the values of religious moderation and the religious character of students. The method used in this research is quantitative, where the data obtained comes from distributing questionnaires to students. This research is a symmetric correlational type of research which aims to determine the relationship between the application of religious moderation values and the religious character of class V students at SDN 3 Jatimulyo South Lampung. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to a deeper understanding of the influence of religious moderation on the formation of religious character and provide input for the development of educational policies that encourage the values of religious moderation. The research sample was 80 students who were determined using probability sampling techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire on religious moderation and religious character. The instrument test in this research used the person product moment formula with the SPSS V.25 for Windows program and for data analysis techniques used correlation techniques. The results of data analysis show that the correlation coefficient value of 0.778 is positive or in the same direction. Then obtained p-value = 0.000, the correlation or relationship between the two variables is significant at the 0.05 level. This can be seen by the correlation coefficient. This value is compared with rtable at a significance level of 5% for N = 80 AND df = N-2 = 78, the figure is 0.2199, so it can be seen that rcount > rtable or 0.778 > 0.2199, so H0 is rejected. From the results of this research, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the values of religious moderation and the religious character of students. The higher the internalization of religious moderation values, the stronger the religious character reflected in the students. Keywords: Religious Moderation, Religious Character
