Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh model pembelajaran Probing Prompting terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di kelas V Mis Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA di kelas V, yang memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi-Experimental) dengan Desain Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang akan menerima pembelajaran dengan model Probing Prompting dan kelompok kontrol yang akan menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di tingkat sekolah dasar. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Probing Prompting, diharapkan dapat terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep IPA dan keterampilan berpikir siswa. berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian data bahwa hasil analisis normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh sampel tersebut berdistribusi normal dan homogen atau varians sama sehingga pada pengujian hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t test atau Uji T dengan taraf signifikan 5% (α = 0,05). Diperoleh p-Value < α (0,006 < 0,05) yang menyatakan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari metode pembelajaran eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas 5 di MIS Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Probing Prompting, Hasil Belajar, IPA iii ABSTRACT This research aims to investigate the influence of the Probing Prompting learning model on Natural Sciences (IPA) learning outcomes in class V Mis Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The background to this research is based on the need to increase the effectiveness of science learning through the application of innovative and interactive learning models. The main problem identified is the low science learning outcomes in class V, which requires a more effective learning approach. The research method used was quasi-experimental (Quasi�Experimental) with a Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The research sample consists of two groups, namely the experimental group which will receive learning using the Probing Prompting model and the control group which will receive conventional learning. The data collection instrument used was the science learning outcomes test. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of more effective learning methods in improving science learning outcomes at the elementary school level. By implementing the Probing Prompting learning model, it is hoped that there will be a significant increase in understanding of science concepts and skill students think. Based on the results of data testing, the results of the normality and homogeneity analysis showed that the sample had a normal and homogeneous distribution or equal variance, so that hypothesis testing used an independent sample t test or T test with a significance level of 5% (a = 0.05). Obtained p-Value <a (0.006 < 0.05) which states that Ho is rejected and H is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the experimental learning method on science learning outcomes for grade 5 students at MIS Al-Hikmah Bandar Lampung.
