Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perkembangan media online yang sangat pesat di Lampung, beberapa media online memiliki peran dalam mendukung publikasi pariwisata di Lampung. Karenanya Lampung memiliki pesona pariwisata yang menawan salah satunya yakni kegiatan pariwisata yang didukung dalam publikasinya ialah pariwisata Krui pro. Untuk itu penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Lampung Geh dalam mendukung publikasi pariwisata Krui pro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer penelitian yakni 8 sample subjek dari hasil teknik (purposive sampling) yaitu Founder Lampung geh, Humas Lampung geh, Staff dinas pariwisata Pesisir Barat dan 5 Pengunjung wisata Krui pro. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah model Miles and Huberman, dengan tiga alur yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lampung Geh berperan sebagai: (1) Window on event and experience dengan menyajikan informasi lengkap tentang Krui Pro; (2) A mirror of event in society dengan menyajikan fakta sesuai kaidah jurnalistik; (3) Filter dalam menyeleksi konten yang layak dipublikasikan; (4) Guide bagi khalayak melalui konten informatif; (5) Forum interaksi melalui kolom komentar dan fitur question box; (6) Interlocutor dengan menyajikan informasi akurat dan responsif. Peran-peran tersebut berkontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung publikasi dan promosi event Krui Pro kepada masyarakat luas. Kata kunci: Peran media online, publikasi pariwisata, Krui Pro, Lampung Geh. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the rapid development of online media in Lampung, several online media have a role in supporting tourism publications in Lampung. Therefore, Lampung has a charming tourism charm, one of which is tourism activities that are supported in its publications, namely Krui pro tourism. For this reason, the author conducted a study aimed at analyzing the role of Lampung Geh in supporting Krui pro tourism publications. This type of research is field research with a qualitative descriptive research nature, with the data source in this study being the primary data source of the study, namely 8 sample subjects from the results of the technique (purposive sampling), namely the Founder of Lampung geh, Staff of the West Coast Tourism Office and 5 Krui pro tourism visitors. Data Collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model, with three flows, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study show that Lampung Geh plays a role as: (1) Window on event and experience by presenting complete information about Krui Pro; (2) A mirror of event in society by presenting facts according to journalistic rules; (3) Filter in selecting content that is worthy of publication; (4) Guide for the audience through informative content; (5) Interaction forum through comment column and question box feature; (6) Interlocutor by presenting accurate and responsive information. These roles contribute significantly in supporting the publication and promotion of Krui Pro events to the wider community.
