Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendah penguasaan konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Permasalahannya adalah kurangnya metode yang bervariasi pada saat proses pembelajaran IPAS selain itu suasana kelas monoton yang membuat siswa pasif dan kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga membuat siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep IPAS. Dalam hal ini peneliti mencoba untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dalam pembelajaran IPAS di SDN 1 Srigading Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle terhadap penguasaan konsep IPAS siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Sri Gading Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan bentuk desain Nonequvalent Control Group Design. Teknik sampling Yang digunakan adalah Cluster Sampling (Area Sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji n-Gain dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari hasil uji hipotesis Independen Sample T-test yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol didapatkan sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05 artinya metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle memberikan pengaaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep IPAS kelas IV di SDN 1 Srigading Lampung Timur. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis Ho ditolak dan H₁ diterima, artinya ada pengaruh signifikan metode pembelajaran pictorial riddle terhadap penguasaan konsep IPAS siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Srigading Lampung Timur. The problem is the lack of varied methods during the science and science learning process, apart from the monotonous classroom atmosphere which makes students passive and less active in the learning process, thus making students experience difficulties in understanding science and science concepts. In this case the researcher tries to apply learning methods pictorial riddle in increasing mastery of concepts in science and science learning at SDN 1 Srigading East Lampung. This research aims to determine the influence of learning methods pictorial riddle on the mastery of science and science concepts for class IV students at SDN 1 Sri Gading, East Lampung. This research is quantitative research. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental with design form Nonequvalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used is Cluster Sampling (Sampling Area). The data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, n-Gain test and hypothesis test. The results of this research show that the results of the Independent Sample T-test hypothesis test carried out in the experimental class and control class were obtained themselves. (2- tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, meaning the learning method pictorial riddle provided a significant influence on the mastery of class IV science and science concepts at SDN 1 Srigading, East Lampung. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ho rejected and H₁ accepted, meaning there is a significant influence of the learning method pictorial riddle on the mastery of science and science concepts for class IV students at SDN 1 Srigading, East Lampung.
