Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi profil miskonsepsi peserta didik kelas XI menggunakan five tier Diagnostic pada materi sistem kekebalan tubuh di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung dan untuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya miskonsepsi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tringulasi. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara pendidik dan peserta didik serta memberikan tes soal five tier Diagnostic materi sistem kekebalan tubuh untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel peserta didik dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik Random sampling. Hasil penelitian dalam tes miskonsepsi pada materi sistem kekebalan tubuh di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung mengalami miskonsepsi dengan persentase 35%, paham konsep 25%, adapun peserta didik tidak paham konsep 19% dan terdapat 21% peserta didik yang memahami sebagian konsep. Faktor�faktor untuk mengetahui penyebabkan miskonsepsi yang dialami pada peserta didik SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung didapat dari tes Five Tier Diagnostic yang kemudian dikonfirmasi dengan mewawancarai pendidik dan peserta didik bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi yang dialami peserta didik yaitu dari penjelasan yang mereka dapat dari internet yang belum tentu benar dengan persentase 40,8%, pemikiran dari peserta didik itu sendiri dengan persentase 22,9%, lalu ada faktor dari pendidik yang memiliki persentase sebesar 3,6%. Faktor teman, jawaban dari teman menjadi sumber informasi yang menyebabkan miskonsepsi dengan persentase 19,7%. Faktor buku sebesar 13,5%, buku pelajaran yang digunakan penggunaan bahasa oleh pengarang untuk memaparkan suatu konsep mungkin diartikan atau ditangkap berbeda oleh peserta didik. ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and analyze the misconceptions of eleventh-grade students using the Five-Tier Diagnostic tool on the topic of the immune system at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung and to determine the factors contributing to these misconceptions. The data analysis technique used in this research is triangulation. Data collection methods include interviews with educators and students, as well as administering a Five-Tier Diagnostic test on the immune system to identify student misconceptions. The sampling technique for students in this study is random sampling. The results of the misconception test on the immune system at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung show that 35% of students have misconceptions, 25% understand the concept correctly, 19% do not understand the concept at all, and 21% understand some of the concept. The factors causing misconceptions among students at SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung were identified through the Five-Tier Diagnostic test and confirmed through interviews with educators and students. These factors include: explanations obtained from the internet, which may not be accurate (40.8%), students' own thinking (22.9%), factors from educators (3.6%), information from friends (19.7%), and textbooks, where the language used by the authors may lead to different interpretations by students (13.5%).
