Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang temukan di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Permasalahan tersebut peneliti ketahui berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang peneliti lakukan di lapangan. Pada saat proses pembelajaran matematika, guru masih menggunakan papan tulis dan gambar yang terdapat pada buku matematika. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yaitu belum optimalnya variasi dan inovasi pendidik dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran, guru hanya menggunakan model problem based learning yang tercantum di dalam modul ajar. Dalam hal ini peneliti megimplentasikan desain model project based learning (PjBL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dan bentuk penelitiannya yaitu quasi experimental design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MIN 11 Bandar Lampung dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas diantaranya kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dimana kelas eksperimen tersebut adalah kelas VA dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah kelas VB. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa soal uraian, dengan menggunakan postest dan pretest di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen tes berbentuk uraian ini akan dihitung menggunakan uji statistik uji-t. Pengelolahan data dari hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas dihitung dengan menggunakan microsoft excel, diperoleh bahwa data hasil tes dari kedua kelas sampel tersebut normal dan homogen sehingga untuk pengujian hipotesis dapat digunakan independent T-test kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik dengan taraf signifikan 5% hasilnya yaitu 0,032<0,05 dengan kesimpulan H0 ditolak sehingga H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian hasil uji-t menyatakan bahwa H1, diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh model project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas V MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the problems found at MIN 11 Bandar Lampung, namely the low creative thinking abilities of students in learning mathematics. The researcher knew about this problem based on the results of observations and interviews that the researcher conducted in the field. During the mathematics learning process, teachers still use blackboards and pictures in mathematics books. One of the causes of students' low creative thinking abilities is that educators' variations and innovations in the use of learning models are not yet optimal, teachers only use problem-based learning models listed in the teaching module. In this case the researcher implemented a project based learning (PjBL) model design. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the project based learning (PjBL) model on students' creative thinking abilities in mathematics class V MIN 11 Bandar Lampung. This research is quantitative experimental research and the form of research is quasi experimental design. This research was carried out at MIN 11 Bandar Lampung using a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique. The sampling in this study consisted of two class groups including the experimental class and the control class. Where the experimental class is class VA and the control class is class VB. The data collection technique in this research uses tests in the form of essay questions, using posttests and pretests in the experimental class and control class. This test instrument in the form of a description will be calculated using the t-test statistical test. Data processing from the normality and homogeneity test results was calculated using Microsoft Excel. It was found that the test result data from the two sample classes were normal and homogeneous so that for hypothesis testing the independent T-test of students' creative thinking ability with a significance level of 5%, the result was 0.032. <0.05 with the conclusion that H0 is rejected so that H₁ is accepted. Thus, the results of the t-test state that H1 is accepted, namely that there is an influence of the project based learning model on students' creative thinking abilities in mathematics class V MIN 11 Bandar Lampung.
