Abstract
ABSTRAK Pemahaman konsep IPAS peserta didik pada kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SETS (science, environment, technology, and society) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1Way Kandis Bandar Lampung. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode quasi experimental designi dengan jenis pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis Bandar Lampung, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan dengan teknik cluster random sampling atau pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kelas, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 57 peserta didik untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan tes awal pembelajaran (pretest) dan tes akhir pembelajaran (posttest) yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dengan hasil valid. Hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan independent test menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,002 lebih kecil dari taraf siginifikan 0,05, yang artinya H0 ditolak, dan H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran SETS (science, environment, technology, and society) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS Peserta Didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran SETS, pemahaman konsep iii ABSTRACT The understanding of the concept of IPAS for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis is low. This study was conducted to determine the effect of SETS (science, environment, technology, and society) learning model on the understanding of the concept of IPAS of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis Bandar Lampung. The research was conducted using quasi experimental design method with pretest posttest control group design. The population of this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis Bandar Lampung, with sampling using cluster random sampling technique or sampling based on class, so that 57 students were obtained for the experimental class and control class. The data collection technique was carried out by conducting an initial learning test (pretest) and an end-of-learning test (posttest) which had been tested for validity with valid results. The results of hypothesis testing using an independent test show a significant value of 0.002 less than the significant level of 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the SETS learning model (science, environment, technology, and society) on understanding the concept of IPAS for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Way Kandis Bandar Lampung.
