Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas permasalahan peserta didik yang memiliki kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi interpersonal sangat penting untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia. Sayangnya tidak semua peserta didik memiliki kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal yang baik, hasil penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar terdapat 6 peserta didik yang mengalami permasalahan kurangnya komunikasi interpersonal yang sangat perlu di atasi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, peneliti menggunakan layanan konseling kelompk dengan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengumpulan data diantara nya adalah dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, serta lembar kerja peserta didik untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal. jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 peserta didik. Selanjutnya, guru BK melaksanakan layanan konseling kelompok dengan tenik role playing dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan dalam jangka waktu 1 bulan. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi guru BK dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal dan untuk menganalisis langkah-langkah implementasi guru BK dalam upaya meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal melalui konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing pada peserta didik SMP Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, implementasi guru bimbingan dan konseling dengan layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik role playing mampu meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik. Dengan hasil yang di dapat peserta didik menjadi percaya diri dalam berkomunikasi seperti, mulai berani bertanya dan peserta didik juga sudah mulai berani tampil di hadapan orang banyak. Sebagai Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan guru BK dapat memberikan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik. Interpersonal communication is very important to fulfill human life needs. Unfortunately, not all students have good interpersonal communication skills. The results of research at SMP Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar showed that there were 6 students who experienced the problem of lack of interpersonal communication which really needed to be overcome. To overcome this problem, researchers used group counseling services with role playing techniques to improve students' interpersonal communication skills. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research, with data collection methods including documentation, observation, interviews, and student worksheets to determine interpersonal communication skills. The number of respondents in this research was 6 students. Furthermore, the BK teacher carried out group counseling services using role playing techniques in 4 meetings within a period of 1 month. So the aim of this research is to determine the implementation of guidance counselors in an effort to improve interpersonal communication skills and to analyze the implementation steps of guidance counselors in an effort to improve interpersonal communication through group counseling with role playing techniques for students at SMP Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. The research results show that the implementation of guidance and counseling teachers with group counseling services using role playing techniques is able to improve students' interpersonal communication skills. With the results obtained, students become confident in communicating, starting to dare to ask questions and students also begin to dare to appear in front of many people. As a recommendation from this research, it is hoped that guidance and counseling teachers can provide group counseling services using role playing techniques to improve students' interpersonal communication.
