Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap praktik manajemen kemandirian pondok pesantren berbasis filantropi di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Kemandirian ini dianggap penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan dan pengembangan pesantren sebagai pusat pendidikan dan keagamaan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis bentuk manajemen kemandirian Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Syafa’at dan Pondok Pesantren Darul Ishlah yang berbasis filantropi, meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, dan pengawasan. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sumber data meliputi pengasuh, pengurus pondok pesantren dan santri. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Model analisis data menggunakan Model Miles dan Hubermann meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) perencanaan kemandirian dengan cara memastikan pesantren memiliki rencana solid mencapai kemandirian finansial dan sosial, 2) pengorganisasian kemandirian dengan cara menyelaraskan manajemen nilai keagamaan dengan efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan dana, 3) penggerakan kemandirian dengan cara memperluas usaha filantropi dan penerapan teknologi untuk mengurangi ketimpangan ekonomi dan meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi santri dan 4) pengawasan kemandirian dengan cara mengimplementasikan sistem evaluasi dan monitoring transparan untuk memastikan akuntabilitas, manajemen risiko proaktif, dan keberlanjutan program pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Abstract This study reveals the practice of self-reliance management in philanthropy�based Islamic boarding schools in Tulang Bawang Regency. Self-reliance is critical in maintaining the sustainability and development of pesantren as educational and religious centers. This study examines how Darussalam Syafa'at Islamic Boarding School and Darul Ishlah Islamic Boarding School manage their self-reliance through philanthropy, including planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising. The researcher employed a qualitative approach. The data sources were caregivers, boarding school administrators, and students. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The Miles and Hubermann model was utilized in the data analysis. The model consists of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 1) the planning for self-reliance was done by ensuring that pesantren had a solid plan to achieve financial and social self-reliance; 2) the organizing for self-reliance was performed by synchronizing religious value management with efficiency and transparency in fund management; 3) the mobilizing for self-reliance was performed by expanding philanthropic efforts and applying technology to decrease economic inequality and increase santri economic self�reliance.
