Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kisah Nabi Ayyub AS. dan bagaimana beliau menghadapi penyakit serta ujian-ujian berat lainnya dalam pandangan mufassir M. Quraish Shihab serta mufassir-mufassir lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research (studi kepustakaan) yakni mengumpulkan sebanyak-banyaknya informasi yang berkaitan dengan kisah Nabi Ayyub AS. dan penyakit yang dideritanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui buku-buku, kitab, internet, dan segala informasi yang berkaitan dengan kajian penelitian. Data primer bersumber dari al�Qur‟an, kitab tafsir. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui buku-buku kisah Nabi Ayyub, internet, jurnal, dan sebagainya. Semua data-data tersebut merupakan bahan untuk mendeskripsikan kisah Nabi Ayyub AS. dan bagaimana beliau menghadapi penyakitnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak ada satu pun mufassir yang menyebut bahwa penyakit Nabi Ayyub AS. adalah merupakan penyakit menular. Yang ada hanyalah cerita-cerita israilliyat yang tidak patut kita ambil sebagai dalil atau sekadar sandaran. Yang menjadi poin penting dalam penelitian ini adalah, sikap Nabi Ayyub ketika beliau diuji dengan kemegahan, kebahagian anak-anak dan isteri yang menyenangkan, hingga saat beliau ditimpa musibah berupa penyakit yang teramat berat, kehilangan hewan ternak, kekayaan yang kian lenyap, serta anak-anak yang meninggal satu per satu. Nabi Ayyub AS. mampu menjaga keimanan bahkan semakin bertambah keimanannya saat beliau diuji kemegahan beliau senantiasa bersyukur dan memohon ampunan, saat diuji musibah berat justru semakin erat hubungan beliau dengan Sang Penciptanya. Kata Kunci: Wabah Penyakit Menular, Tafsir Quraish Shihab, dan Kisah Nabi Ayub dalam Al-Qur’an. ABSTRACT This research describes the story of the Prophet Ayyub AS. and how he handled illness and other serious trials in the view of mufassir M. Quraish Shihab and other mufassir. This research uses a library research approach, namely collecting as much information as possible related to the story of the Prophet Ayyub AS. and the disease he was suffering from. This research uses data collection techniques through books, books, the internet, and all information related to research studies. Primary data comes from the Koran, a book of commentaries. Secondary data was obtained through books on the story of the Prophet Ayyub, the internet, journals, and so on. All of this data is material for describing the story of the Prophet Ayyub AS. and how he faced his illness. The results of the research show that not a single commentator mentioned that Prophet Ayyub AS was ill. is an infectious disease. There are only israilliyat stories that we should not take as evidence or just support. What is an important point in this research is the attitude of the Prophet Ayyub when he was tested with splendor, the happiness of his children and a pleasant wife, until when he was hit by a disaster in the form of a very serious illness, loss of livestock, increasingly lost wealth, and his children. children who died one by one. Prophet Ayyub AS. able to maintain his faith, his faith even increased when he was tested for his magnificence, he was always grateful and asked for forgiveness, when he was tested by a serious disaster, his relationship with his Creator became even closer.
