Abstract
ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan belum mampu memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran dan kurang memahami materi yang diajarkan. Guna mengatasi masalah tersebut pendidik perlu mengikutsertakan peserta didik secara aktif dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning berbantuan media gambar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas III di MIN 1 Pesawaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen semu atau quasi eksperiment dan desain penelitian adalah non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas III di MIN 1 Pesawaran, Kecamatan Kedondong, Kabupaten Pesawaran, Lampung pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi sebanyak 174 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yakni teknik pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas III C sebagai kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning berbantuan media gambar. Sedangkan kelas III B sebagai kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media kartu gambar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 10 soal dan istrumen tes sebelum digunakan dilakukan pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda instrumen. Untuk analisis data digunakan uji prasyarat analisis, yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogentias, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan taraf pengujian signifikansi 5% (0,05). Berdasarkan pengujian uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas diperoleh bahwa sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen atau memiliki varian-varian yang sama, dan hasil uji hipotesis (uji-t) hasil belajar matematika pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,017 yang memiliki nilai lebih kecil dari nilai kriteria α = 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran guided discovery learning berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas III di MIN 1 Pesawaran. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning, Media Gambar, Hasil Belajar Matematika. iv ABSTRACT The problem behind this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students because the learning model used has not been able to maximize the learning process. Students are less active in learning and do not understand the material being taught. In order to overcome this problem, educators need to actively involve students by implementing the guided discovery learning model assisted by image media. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the guided discovery learning learning model assisted by image media on mathematics learning outcomes for class III at MIN 1 Pesawaran. This research uses a quantitative approach with quasi�experimental or quasi-experimental research methods and the research design is a non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted in class III at MIN 1 Pesawaran, Kedondong District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung in the 2023/2024 academic year. The population is 174 students. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations to determine the experimental class and control class. Class III C as an experimental class was given treatment using the guided discovery learning model assisted by image media. Meanwhile, class III B as the control class was treated using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by picture card media. The research instrument uses a test in the form of essay questions totaling 10 questions and the test instrument before use is tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and distinguishing power of the instrument. For data analysis, analysis prerequisite tests were used, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t test with a significance testing level of 5% (0.05). Based on the normality test and homogeneity test, it was found that the sample was normally distributed and homogeneous or had the same variants, and the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) on mathematics learning outcomes in the experimental class obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.017 which has a value is smaller than the criterion value α = 0.05, it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of the guided discovery learning learning model assisted by image media on mathematics learning outcomes for class III at MIN 1 Pesawaran.
