Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada abad ke-21, menjadi suatu keharusan bagi masyarakat Indonesia untuk menguasai kemampuan literasi. Salah satu pilar yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) khususnya dunia pendidikan sains atau IPA saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis literasi sains. Jenis penelitian adalah R&D (Research and Development) milik Borg and Gall dengan 7 tahapan yang disederhanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian angket validasi para ahli (media, materi, dan bahasa), angket respon peserta didik, angket respon pendidik, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan modul berbasis Literasi Sains pada materi ekosistem kelas X, pada tahap penilaian validasi ahli media memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 84% dengan kategori Sangat Layak, pada tahap penilaian validasi ahli materi memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 89% dengan kategori Sangat Layak, pada tahap penilaian validasi ahli bahasa memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 89% dengan kategori Sangat Layak. Respon peserta didik terhadap modul berbasis Literasi Sains untuk kelas X pada materi ekosistem, pada skala kecil mempeoleh hasil presentase sebanyak 86% dengan kategori Sangat Baik, pada skala luas mempeoleh hasil presentase sebanyak 82% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Kemudian respon tanggapan penilaian pendidik mendapatkan skor presentase sebesar 88% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Demikian modul berbasis literasi sains terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik materi ekosistem kelas X sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar modul pembelajaran. Sehingga penelitian ini memiliki keterbaruan berupa materi yang digunakan yaitu materi ekosistem dan tempat penelitian yang digunakan. One of the most important pillars in the development of Science and Technology (IPTEK), especially in the world of science education or science today. This research aims to develop science literacy-based modules. The type of research is Borg and Gall's R&D (Research and Development) with 7 simplified stages. This study uses expert validation questionnaire research instruments (media, material, and language), student response questionnaires, educator response questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the feasibility test of the Science Literacy-based module on class X ecosystem materials, at the assessment stage the validation of media experts obtained a percentage result of 84% with the category of Very Feasible, at the stage of the validation assessment the material expert obtained a percentage result of 89% with the category of Very Feasible, at the stage of the validation assessment the linguist obtained a percentage result of 89% with the category of Very Feasible. Students' responses to the Science Literacy-based module for class X on ecosystem materials, on a small scale obtained a percentage result of 86% with the Very Good category, on a large scale obtained a percentage result of 82% with the Very Good category. Then the response to the educator's assessment received a percentage score of 88% with the Very Good category. Thus, the science literacy-based module on the science process skills of students of class X ecosystem material is very suitable to be used as a teaching material for learning modules. So that this research has the latest in the form of the material used, namely the ecosystem material and the place where the research is used.
