Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengembangan Game Edukasi Menggunakan UNITY 3D Berbasis Android Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup UntukPeserta Didik Kelas VII SMP Oleh ARI NURMANSYAH Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan dan kelayakan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di kelas VII SMP dengan proses mengembangkan game edukasi menggunakan software unity 3d. penelitian dan pengembangan ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Develoment (R&D) menggunakan prosedur Bord & Gall dengan 10 langkah yang disederhanakan menjadi 7 langkah. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, angket kebutuhan, lembar angket validator ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa serta angket respon kemenarikan. Hasil uji kelayakan media game edukasi menunjukkan bahwa media “sangat layak” berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media yaitu 90%, ahli materi 98%, dan ahli bahasa 83%. Respon peserta didik di kelas VII UPTD SMP N 2 Pasir Sakti dilakukan dengan uji coba skala kecil sebesar 85%, skala besar memperoleh 81%, dan respon pendidik sebesar 85%. Dengan demikian, produk media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android menggunakan Unity 3D pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup termasuk dalam kriteria “sangat menarik” dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran, Unity 3D, Klasifikikasi Makhluk Hidup iii ABSTRACT Development of Educational Game Using UNITY 3D Based on Android in Science Subject Material on Classification of Living Beings for Seventh Grade Junior High School Students By ARI NURMANSYAH This research aims to determine the development and feasibility of an Android-based educational game learning media on the topic of classification of living things for seventh-grade students by developing educational games using Unity 3D software. This research and development is a type of Research and Development (R&D) study using the Bord & Gall procedure with 10 steps simplified into 7 steps. Data collection instruments used include interviews, needs questionnaires, expert media validation sheets, expert material, and language expert sheets, as well as attractiveness response questionnaires. The feasibility test results of the educational game media show that the media is "very feasible" based on the validation results of media experts, namely 90%, material experts 98%, and language experts 83%. The response of students in class VII UPTD SMP N 2 Pasir Sakti carried out with small scale trials was 85%, large scale obtained 81%, and teacher response was 85%. Thus, the Android-based educational game learning media product using Unity 3D on the topic of classification of living things falls into the criteria of "very attractive" and is suitable for use in the learning process.
