Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik, serta penggunaan metode pembalajaran yang kurang bervariasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari metode pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together berbantu Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Negara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif Quasy Eksperiment Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Stratified Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 peserta didik yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data hasil penelitian didapat dari hasil belajar peserta didik melalui tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 15 soal. Selanjutnya data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa adanya pengaruh dari penerapan metode pembelajaran NHT berbantu Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari perolehan nilai thitung sebesar 2,137 dan ttabel sebesar 1,676, yang berarti thitung > ttabel Serta nilai signifikasnsi sebesar 0,038 < 0,05, yang artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode numbered heads together berbantu mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar kelas VIII MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Negara. Kata Kunci : Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Mind Mapping, Hasil Belajar iv ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, as well as the use of less varied learning methods. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together learning method assisted by Mind Mapping on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Negara. The type of research used is quantitative Quasy Experiment Design research in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design, and the sampling technique uses Stratified Random Sampling. The sample in this study consisted of 51 students consisting of the experimental class and the control class. The research data was obtained from students' learning results through a multiple choice test consisting of 15 questions. Next, the data in this study was analyzed using the independent sample t-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis that has been carried out, the results show that there is an influence from the application of the NHT learning method assisted by mind mapping on student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the obtained tcount value of 2.137 and ttable of 1.676, which means tcount > ttable. And the significance value is 0.038 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of the numbered heads together method assisted by mind mapping on the learning outcomes of class VIII MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Negara.
