Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji makna wail yang terdapat pada al-Qur'an surat al-Ma‟un. Makna wail biasanya dikaitkan dengan perbuatan yang negatif, tetapi pada qur‟an surat al-ma‟un ini dikaitkan dengan perbuatan yang positif tetapi termasuk dalam kategori perbuatan yang celaka. Untuk mengetahui aspek linguistik pada lafadz wail penulis menggunakan tafsir Ma‟ani Qur‟an karya al-Farra. Lalu untuk melihat konteks sosial pada masyarakat di era klasik hingga dapat diterapkan di era kontemporer penulis menggunakan kitab tafsir asy-Sya‟rawi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian studi pustaka dengan sifat jenis penelitian kualitatif yang berfokus pada analisis deskriptif teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna wail disini yaitu kecelakaan bagi orang yang sholat, bentuk sholat seperti apa yang terancam oleh kecaman Allah swt? Menurut kedua tafsir tersebut, mereka adalah individu�individu ceroboh yang melakukan sesuatu ketika dilihat orang lain, menghalangi mereka melakukan aktivitas yang baik dan enggan membantu orang lain meskipun hanya dengan lisan. Kata kunci: (Analisis makna wail, asy-Sya‟rawi, Ma‟ani Qur‟an) ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the meaning of wail contained in the Qur'an letter al-Ma'un. The meaning of wail is usually associated with negative actions, but in the Qur'an letter al-Ma'un it is associated with positive actions but is included in the category of wretched actions. To find out the linguistic aspects of the lafadz wail, the author uses the interpretation of Ma'ani Qur'an by al-Farra. Then to see the social context in society in the classical era so that it can be applied in the contemporary era the author uses the book of tafsir asy-Sya'rawi. This research uses the type of literature study research with the nature of the type of qualitative research that focuses on descriptive analysis of the text. The results showed that the meaning of wail here is an accident for people who pray, what kind of prayer is threatened by the condemnation of Allah swt? According to both commentaries, they are careless individuals who do things when others see them and prevent them from doing good activities and are reluctant to help others even if only verbally.
