Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada masalah yang ditemukan di kelas V MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung yaitu terdapat pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik yang masih rendah. Rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik dapat dilihat dari hasil wawancara dan daftar nilai dengan guru mata pelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara pada saat proses pembelajaran terdapat siswa yang hanya diam mendengarkan tanpa mau bertanya terhadap pelajaran yang ia tidak mengerti, kurangnya kerja sama dalam tim dan kelompok, kurang mendiskusikan suatu suatu permasalahan dalam pembelajaran. Dengan ini tujuan persoalan pada penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan video animasi terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik di MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini aadalah kuantitatif eksperimen yaitu Quasi Experimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh kelas V, kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan 10 soal essay. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan video animasi terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik di MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. Mengetahui perbandingan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi atau lebih rendah dari kelas kontrol maka di lakukan uji-t. hasil uji-t dari uji coba tes kedua kelas menunjukkan hasil yaitu signifikan harus di bawah 0.05 yaitu 0.000 < 0.05 maka hipotesis diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik mengalami peningkatan atau dikategorikan baik dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum diberikan perlakuan atau sesudah diberikan perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Video Animasi dan Pemahaman Konsep Matematika. iv ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the problem found in class V MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung, namely that students' understanding of mathematical concepts was still low. Students' low understanding of mathematical concepts can be seen from the results of interviews and score lists with mathematics subject teachers. Based on the results of interviews during the learning process, there were students who just listened silently without wanting to ask questions about lessons they did not understand, lacked cooperation in teams and groups, and did not discuss a problem in learning. With this, the aim of the problem in this research is to determine the significant influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by animated videos on students' understanding of mathematical concepts at MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. This type of research is a quantitative experiment, namely Quasi Experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population used was all class V, class V A as the experimental class using the Problem Based Learning learning model and class V B as the control class using the conventional learning model. The data collection technique in this research uses a test with 10 essay questions. The aim of this research is to determine the significant influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by animated videos on students' understanding of mathematical concepts at MIMA IV Sukabumi Bandar Lampung. To find out whether the understanding of mathematical concepts of students in the experimental class is higher or lower than the control class, a t-test is carried out. The results of the t-test from the test trials for both classes show that the significant results must be below 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that based on the hypothesis, it shows that students' understanding of mathematical concepts has increased or is categorized as good and there are significant differences before being given treatment or after being given treatment in the experimental class using the Problem Based Learning learning model in the control class using the conventional learning model.
