Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menerangkan tentang ―Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Peningkatan Kualitas Layanan Tata Usaha Di MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. Adapun yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah tata usaha masih kurang teliti dalam membuat surat-surat, pengarsipan yang belum tersusun rapi sehingga ketika tata usaha mencari berkas yang dibutuhkan memakan waktu, kemudian belum optimalnya pengomputerisasian data-data maka oleh itu perlu adanya penerapan disiplin kerja yang baik dimana disiplin kerja ikut berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan tata usaha. Adapun rumusan masalahnya yakni ―Apakah pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan tata usaha di MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus?‖. Pengajuan hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan tata usaha di MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus serta tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin kerja terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan tata usaha di MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode kuantitatif dimana metode dalam pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas 9 yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik yang dimana hasil perhitungan dalam pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan rumus Slovin. Dalam uji coba validitas penelitian ini menggunakan teknik product moment sedangkan untuk uji reliabilitas penulis menggunakan teknik alpha cronbach dan untuk melakukan uji tersebut penulis menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 21. Kemudian untuk mengetahui hasil uji analisis data perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus uji t. Hasil penelitian ini ditunjukan dari perhitungan uji t yakni diperoleh thitung sebesar 4,639 dan ttabel 2,034 atau 4,639 > 2,034, kemudian berdasarkan nilai signifikansi yakni diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal tersebut artinya terdapat pengaruh disiplin kerja secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas layanan tata usaha di MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. Penelitian ini berindikasi bagi kepala madrasah untuk meningkatkan disiplin kerja dengan cara memberikan punishment dan reward. Kata Kunci : Disiplin Kerja, Kualitas Layanan Tata Usaha iv ABSTRACT This study describes the “Effect of Work Discipline on Improving the Quality of Administrative Services at MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. The background of this research is that the administration is still less careful in making letters, filling that has not been neatly arranged so that when the administration looks for the files needed it takes time, then the computerization of data is not optimal, therefore it is necessary to enforce good work discipline where work discipline has an influence in improving the quality of administrative services. The formulation of the problem was “What was the effect of work discipline on improving the quality of administrative services at MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus?”. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant influence of work discipline on improving the quality MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus, and there is no significant influence of work discipline on improving the quality of administrative services at MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. The method used in this research was a quantitative method, where the method of collecting data uses a questionnaire. The population in this study amounted to 177 and the sample in this study were grade 9 students, totaling 35 students. The calculation results for this sampling used the Slovin formula. In testing the validity of this study using product moment techniques, while for the reliability test, the authors used the Cronbach alpha technique, and to carry out the test, the authors used the help of the SPSS 21 program. Then to find out the result of the data analysis test, the calculation was carried out using the t test formula. The result of this study are shown form the calculation of the t test, which is obtained t count of 4,639 and t tabel 2,034 or 4,639 > 2,034, and based on the significance value, which is obtained a value of 0.000 < 0,05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant effet of work discipline on improving the quality of administrative services at MTs Nurul Fattah Mincang Tanggamus. This research indicates for head of the madrasah to improve work discipline by providing punishment and reward. Keywords : Work Discipline, Quality of Administration Services
