Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Kabupaten Pringsewu, Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh metode Audio-Lingual terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik berbantuan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesa di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Lampung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Exsperiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Lampung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menentukan kelas yang akan dijadikan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive, sehingga diperoleh kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VA sebanyak 24 peserta didik yang akan diberi perlakukan dengan menggunakan metode Audio-Lingual sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas VB sebanyak 24 peserta didik yang diberi perlakukan dengan menggunakan metode Demonstrasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis tes yang dilakukan diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis ditolak dan diterima, artinya ada pengaruh signifikan metode Audio-Lingual terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik berbantuan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Lampung. Kata Kunci: Metode Audio-Lingual, Keterampilan Berbicara, Bahasa Indonesia iii ABSTRACT The research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk, Pringsewu District, Lampung Province. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Audio-Lingual method on the speaking skills of students assisted by audio-visual media in learning Indonesian in class V SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Lampung. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative method with a Quasi Experiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Lampung. The sampling technique used in this study was to determine the class that would be used as the experimental group and the control group using a purposive sampling technique, so that the experimental class was obtained, namely the VA class of 24 students who would be treated using the Audio-Lingual method while the control class was the class VB as many as 24 students who were treated using the Demonstration method. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing conducted, it was obtained sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05 so it can be concluded that the hypothesis H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of the Audio-Lingual method on the speaking skills of students assisted by audio-visual media in learning Indonesian in class V SD Negeri 1 Pajaresuk Pringsewu Regency, Lampung Province.
