Abstract
NU VALUES IN LEADERSHIP AT MA'ARIF SCHOOL IN CENTRAL LAMPUNG Abstrak One of the efforts in instilling nu values in education applied by schools is to provide theory and practice in daily life at school. NU is a religious organization that aims to preserve, develop and practice the islamic teachings of ahlusunnah wal jama'ah. The meaning of ahlusunnah wal jama'ah is the followers who cling to the Qur'an, al-Hadith, al-Ijma' and al-Qiyas. The principal as a leader, especially in Ma'arif schools, needs to implement or practice nu-an values, namely Tawasuth or I'tidal, Tawazun, Tasamuh and Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar which are applied in daily life in the school environment. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The conclusions in the studythat the values of NU-an in leadership at Ma'arif school in Central Lampung are true that the principal applies the values or principles of NU in daily life both in the school environment and outside the school by carrying out various kinds of activities that smell of NU-an such as reading Tahlil, Istighazah, Shalawat etc., in addition to that in daily life the principal applies an attitude of tolerance, fairness, teaching good things to all school residents. The goal to be achieved in this paper is to see the leadership of the principal in applying nu-an values in Ma'arif school in Central Lampung, using a research method, which is descriptive qualitative by using data collection techniques in this study, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed and re-presented or reduced data then conclusions are drawn. Then the data is triangulated using source triangulation. The results of this study show that nu-an values in leadership in Ma'arif Lampung Tengah school are correct for the principal to apply the values or principles of NU in daily life both in the school environment and outside the school with the implementation of NU-an values in leadership in Ma'arif school Lampung Tengah applied in daily and extracurricular forms, such as: Tawasuth or I'tidal, in its implementation the values of NU-an in schools are fair attitudes that are directly implemented or exemplified by the principal, this fair attitude is applied to both teachers and students. Tasamuh, which is a tolerant attitude in the NU value of the kap, the principal practices to all school residents by exemplifying a tolerant attitude, namely respecting sesame without discriminating. Tawazun is a balanced attitude where the principal as a leader invites and exemplifies the form of tawazun value, namely by getting used to doing something that is balanced with praying and worship. Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar, is an attitude of running the good and leaving the bad, this attitude is exemplified in the attitude of not insulting each other and helping each other. With his leadership, the principal implemented nu-an values to all school residents through attitudes and behaviors. Keywords: NU values, Leadership ABSTRAK NILAI-NILAI ke-NU an DALAM KEPEMIMPINAN DI SEKOLAH MA’ARIF LAMPUNG TENGAH Salah satu upaya dalam penanaman nilai ke-NU an dalam pendidikan yang diterapkan oleh sekolah adalah dengan memberikan teori dan praktek dalam kehidupan sehari-hari disekolah. NU merupakan suatu organisasi keagamaan yang bertujuan melestarikan, mengembangkan dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam ahlusunnah wal jama‟ah. Arti ahlusunnah wal jama‟ah adalah para pengikut yang berpegang teguh kepada al-Qur‟an, al-Hadits, al-Ijma‟ dan al-Qiyas. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin khususnya di sekolah Ma‟arif perlu melaksanakan atau mempraktekan nilai-nilai ke-NU-an yakni Tawasuth atau I‟tidal, Tawazun, Tasamuh dan Amar Ma‟ruf Nahi Mungkar yang diaplikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penulisan ini adalah untuk melihat kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai ke-NU-an di sekolah Ma‟arif Lampung Tengah, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tekhnik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dan disajikan kembali atau direduksi data kemudian ditarik kesimpulan. Kemudian data tersebut dilakukan triangulasi dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai ke-NU-an dalam kepemimpinan di sekolah Ma‟arif Lampung Tengah benar menerapkan nilai atau prinsip dari NU dalam kehidupan sehari-hari baik dilingkungan sekolah maupun diluar sekolah dengan melakukan berbagai macam kegiatan yang berbau ke-NU-an seperti pembacaan Tahlil, Istighazah, Shalawat dll, selain itu dalam keseharian kepala sekolah menerapkan sikap toleransi, adil, mengajarkan hal yang baik kepada seluruh warga sekolah.
