Abstract
ABSTRAK Kreativitas sangat penting dikembangkan sejak usia dini karena kreativitas sangat berpengaruh sekali dalam aspek perkembangan anak salah satunya dengan pengembangan eksplorasi bermain bahan alam, tujuannya agar menumbuhkan minat anak untuk mengenal dan mempelajari bahan-bahan yang ada dilingkungan sekitar. Disinilah peran seorang guru sangat penting untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak sejak dini dengan metode bermain sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan 16 orang anak, 11 laki�laki dan 5 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, redukasi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peran guru dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak melalui bermain bahan alam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa peran guru dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak melalui bermain bahan alam, guru akan berperan sebagai: 1) Perencana, guru merencanakan untuk kegiatan bermain bahan alam, 2) Fasilitator, guru menyiapkan alat dan bahan yang akan digunakan, 3) Elaborator, guru menetapkan metode atau strategi dengan kreatif, 4) Model, guru mencontohkan dan terjun langsung sebelum anak melakukan kegiatan bermain bahan alam, 5) Pengamat, guru mengamati dan mengawasi anak dalam melakukan kegiatan bermain, 6) Motivator, guru memberikan dorongan positif agar anak dapat menumbuhkan aktivitas dan daya cipta (kreativitas), 7) Evaluator, guru memberikan penilaian untuk setiap kegiatan anak dalam bermain bahan alam terhadap perkembangan kreativitasnya. Dengan peran guru yang cukup baik, sehingga menumbuhkan perkembangan kreativitas anak yaitu memiliki sifat imajinatif terlihat ketika anak mampu menciptakan dan melakukan kegiatan dengan keinginannya sendiri, memiliki sifat rasa ingin tahu terlihat saat anak sering bertanya dan sangat antusias saat melakukan kegiatan, memiliki sifat berani mengambil resiko terlihat saat anak tidak ragu dan penuh percaya diri dalam melakukan kegiatan bermain bahan alam, dan memiliki sifat menghargai terlihat saat anak bisa menghargai hasil karyanya sendiri dan menerima masukan dari guru. Kata kunci : Peran guru, kreativitas, bermain bahan alam iii ABSTRACT Creativity is very important to be developed from an early age because creativity is very influential in aspects of child developmentm, one of which is the development of exploration of playing natural materials, the aim is to foster children’s interest in knowing and studying materials in the surrounding environment. This is where the role of a teacher is very important to develop children’s creativity from an early age with the method of playing according to the characteristics of the child. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative research method involving 16 children, 11 boys and 5 girls. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the date were analyzed qualitatively by using data collection techniques, data reduction, data display, and drawing conslusions. The results of this study indicate the teacher’s role in developing children’s creativity through playing natural materials. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that teacher’s role in developing children’s creativity through playing natural materials, the teacher will act as: 1) Planner, teacher plans material play activities, 2) Facilitator, teacher prepares tools and materials to be used, 3) Elaborator, the teacher determines the method or strategy creatively, 4) Model, the teacher gives an example and goes directly before the child does the activity of playing natural materials, 5) Observer, observer and supervieses the chid in carrying out the activity, 6) Motivator, the teacher provides encouragement positive so that children can grow activity and creativity (creativity), 7) Evaluator, the teacher gives an assessment for each child in playing natural materials on the development of creativity. With the role of a teacher who is quite good, so that it fosters the development of children’s creativity, namely having an imaginative nature that is seen when childrens are able to create and carry out activities of their own accord, having a curious nature seen when children often ask questions and being very enthusiastic when doing activities, having the courage to take risks seen when children don’t think and are confident in playing natural materials, and have a respectful nature whenchildren can appreciate their own results and receive input from the teacher.
