Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berangkat dari belum tercapainya Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kabupaten Pesawaran, yang sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 32 Tahun 2013 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP), khususnya empat standar nasional pendidikan yaitu standar kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses dan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendiskripsikan manajemen peningkatan mutu madrasah dibidang perencanaan kualitas, pengendalian kualitas dan perbaikanan kualitas di standar mutu kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses dan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kabupaten Pesawaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretatif dengan metode kualitatif-deskriptif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian yaitu kepala madrasah, waka kurikulum dan waka kesiswaan, guru, siswa, masyarakat (stake holders sekolah). Tehnik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran secara implisit telah menerapkan Total Quality Management, yaitu kolaborasi lkonsep lThe lJuran Trilogy dengan standar mutu pendidikan sebagai upaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Hal ini diiplementasikan perbaikan terus menerus melalui perencanaan kualitas (quality planning), pengendalian kualitas (quality control), perbaikanan kualitas (quality improvement) di standar kompetensi lulusan, standar isi, standar proses dan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran untuk mencapai tujuan peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Kata Kunci Kunci: Manajemen mutu, Madrasah Tsanawiyah viii ABSTRACT This research was conducted due to unachieved quality management of education at Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) in Pesawaran Regency in accordance with Government Regulation of The Republic of Indonesia Number 32 Year 2013 concerning the National Standards of Education in particular to four national education standards, namely graduate competency standards, content standard, process standards, and educators and education personnel standards. This research was aimed to analyze and describe the management of school quality improvement in the field of quality planning, quality control, and quality improvement in graduate competency quality standards, content standards, process standards, and educators and education personnel standards at Islamic Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) in Pesawaran Regency. This research used an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative-descriptive method. The research was conducted in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran. Data collection techniques used in this study included were in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. Sources of research data included school principal, vice-principal of curriculum, vice-principal of students affairs, teachers, students, and society as school stakeholders. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran have implicitly implemented Total Quality Management, namely the collaboration of The Juran Trilogy concept with education quality standards as an effort to maintain and improve school quality. They implemented continuous improvement through quality planning, quality control, quality improvement in graduate competency standards, content standard, process standards, and educators and education personnel standards of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Pesawaran and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pesawaran to achieve the goal of improving the quality of education.
