Abstract
ABSTRACT Movie can be one of interesting media for the teacher to deliver the material. In this research, the researcher chose “Children of Heaven” movie by Majid Majidi. This movie is chosen to be analyzed because of the important moral values which can be applied to real life situation. The purpose of this research is divided into two. The first aim is to find out the moral values which can be taken from “Children of Heaven” movie in order that it can give benefits to young learners and the second purpose is to analyze the advantage from the movie of “Children of Heaven” by Majid Majidi. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative research is best suited to address a research problem which does not know the variables need to be explored. The primary data of this research is the script of “Children of Heaven” movie by Majid Majidi. The secondary data is taken from many literary books and some relevant materials which have relations to support and complete the primary data of this research. The result of this research is that there are some moral values from the movie of “Children of Heaven” and some advantages which can be applied to young learners. From the analysis, it can be concluded that there are some moral values which can be taken from the movie such as courage, enthusiasm, kindheartedness, honesty, love and affection, loyalty, peace-loving, dedication, sacrificing for others, self-esteem and strong faith.
