Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the relationship among critical thinking skills, ability to write a narrative essay, and schemata with a ability research proposal. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Education Department of Arabic language This research was conducted at Arabic Department of Education and Teacher Training Faculty of State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Raden Intan Lampung in 2014/2015 Academic Year. The research data were taken from class B of the sixth semester of translation subject, with 30 students as the subject of the research. The data were analyzed by quantitative approaches. The results of the research indicates that: (1) there is positive correlation the ability to think critically between a ability research proposal, (2) there is positive correlation writing narrative essay between a ability research proposal ability (3) there is positive correlation schemata between a ability research proposal, and (4) there is positive correlation between the ability to think critically, writing narrative essay, schemata with a ability research proposal Keywords: Critical Thinking Ability, Narrative Essay Writing Ability, schemata, Ability research Proposals
