Abstract
This study aims to determine the policy of regulation of village autonomy post reform. This study discussed the political law of village autonomy since post-reform and its relevance to the administration of village government. This is a normative research that uses statute approach. The result indicates that the politics of law in the fluctuation of the policy regulated in some legislation concerning the existence of village administration which is now covered by Act no. 6 year 2014 on village has provided a stronger legal basis, but the village that is not mentioned in the constitution still raises concerns, for it could possibly be changed again. The regulation thourgh the act is very dependent on the political configuration.
