Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian di RA AL – Amanah Bandar Lampung dilatar belakangi Kegiatan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis anak masih belum maksimal, Sering kali guru yang selalu dominan berbicara dan kurang memberikan kesempatan kepada anak untuk bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sehingga ada Anak-Anak kurang mampu mengajukan pertanyaan dan pendapat. Hal ini juga di sebabkan proses pembelajaran berpusat pada Guru, dapat terlihat ketika Anak hanya mendengarkan dan menerima informasi tanpa melakukan kegiatan mengamati, menganalisis, serta menyimpulkan. masalah dalam penelitian ini seberapa besar pengaruh metode eksperimen terhadap kemampuan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini di RA AL- Amanah Bandar Lampung.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh metode eksperimen terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini di RA AL- Amanah Bandar Lampung. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 44 anak. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan pretes-posttes dengan alat penilaian menggunakan skala likert, tehnik analisis data menggunakan angket,observasi dan dokumentasi, Analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat bantu program spss versi 25. Hasil analisis Paired Sample T-test menunjukkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sesuai dengan kriteria jika nilai signifikan < 0,05 berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya bahwa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan metode eksperimen, ternyata nilai rata-rata posttest tidak sama dengan nilai rata-rata pretest secara signifikan. Berdasarkan data nilai rata-rata posttest kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini lebih tinggi dari pada nilai rata-rata pretest kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini sehingga dapat disimpulkan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia dini, Metode Eksperimen iv ABSTRACT The research at RA AL - Amanah Bandar Lampung was motivated by the learning activities used for children's critical thinking skills which were still not optimal. Often teachers were always dominant in speaking and did not give children the opportunity to ask and answer questions in learning activities. So there are children who are less able to ask questions and opinions. This is also caused by the teacher-centered learning process, which can be seen when children only listen and receive information without carrying out activities of observing, analyzing and concluding. The problem in this research is how much influence the experimental method has on the critical thinking abilities of young children at RA AL- Amanah Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of the experimental method on the critical thinking abilities of young children at RA AL- Amanah Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is quantitative with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 44 children. The data collection method uses pretest-posttest with assessment tools using a Likert scale, data analysis techniques using questionnaires, observation and documentation, quantitative data analysis using SPSS version 25 program tools. The results of the Paired Sample T-test analysis show a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. In accordance with the criteria, if the significant value is <0.05, it means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that after implementing learning using the experimental method, it turned out that the average posttest score was not significantly the same as the average pretest score. Based on the data, the average posttest score for early childhood critical thinking abilities is higher than the pretest average score for early childhood critical thinking abilities, so it can be concluded that the experimental method can improve the critical thinking abilities of early childhood.
