Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini, mendeskripsikan tentang masalah pada Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Margodadi terfokus pada bagaimana komunikasi organisasi dalam menjalin Ukhuwah Islamiyah di Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Margodadi. Permasalahan ini dapat diketahui dari proses rancangan pengembangan yang dibuat secara matang harus terhenti karena menunggu keputusan dari pemimpin, sehingga akan menghilangkan gairah untuk melakukan perubahan yang lebih baik bagi pesantren. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi organisasi yang diterapkan oleh Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum Margodadi dalam menjalin Ukhuwah Islamiyah antar pengurus dan pimpinan. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan berjenis penelitian lapangan. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, dan dokumen lainnya. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa induktif, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah komunikasi yang dilakukan di struktur pengurus pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum yaitu komunikasi vertikal yang terjadi dari atas ke bawah. Tetapi komunikasi vertikal dari bawah ke atas di pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum belum bejalan dengan maksimal, dimana masih ada rasa segan pengurus untuk menyampaikan saran, ide, serta pendapat kepada pimpinan ataupun pengasuh dari pondok pesantren. Permasalahan ini dikarenakan rasa hormat mereka yang tinggi kepada gurunya. Dari 7 konsep kunci dalam komunikasi organisasi, pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum sangat menekankan hubungan antar pimpinan dengan pengurus, pengurus dengan pengurus di organisasi untuk dapat mewujudkan visi dan misi dari pesantren. Hal ini sesuai dengan salah satu konsep kunci dalam komunikasi organisasi yaitu hubungan. Dengan adanya hubungan yang baik antar manusia di dalam organisasi, maka akan terciptanya rasa saling percaya dan menjadikan komunikasi yang lebih efektif demi terwujudnya impian didirikannya Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum. ABSTRACT This research describes the problems at the Bahrul Ulum Margodadi Islamic Boarding School, focusing on how organizational communication creates Ukhuwah Islamiyah at the Bahrul Ulum Margodadi Islamic Boarding School. This problem can be seen from the fact that the development plan process which was made carefully had to be stopped because it was waiting for a decision from the leader, so that it would eliminate the enthusiasm to make changes for the better for the Islamic boarding school. The purpose of this research is to find out how organizational communication is implemented by the Bahrul Ulum Margodadi Islamic Boarding School in establishing Ukhuwah Islamiyah between administrators and leaders. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach and is a field research type. Secondary data sources are obtained from books, journals and other documents. Data collection methods using interview, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques are inductive, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research are the communication carried out in the management structure of the Bahrul Ulum Islamic boarding school, namely vertical communication that occurs from top to bottom. However, vertical communication from bottom to top at the Bahrul Ulum Islamic boarding school has not been running optimally, where there is still a feeling of reluctance among administrators to convey suggestions, ideas and opinions to the leaders or caregivers of the Islamic boarding school. This problem is caused by their high respect for their teacher. Of the 7 key concepts in organizational communication, Bahrul Ulum Islamic boarding school places great emphasis on the relationship between leaders and administrators, administrators and administrators in the organization to be able to realize the vision and mission of the Islamic boarding school. This is in accordance with one of the key concepts in organizational communication, namely relationships. By having good relationships between people in the organization, a sense of mutual trust will be created and communication will be more effective in order to realize the dream of establishing the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School.
