Abstract
ABSTRAK Seharusnya perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini sudah berkembang di sekolah dan kenyataanya kemampuan kognitif anak belum berkembang sangat baik di karenakan bahwa dengan pembelajaran area yang di gunakan untuk masih minim atau masih terlalu sedikit medianya sehingga anak mudah jenuh saat mengikuti pembelajaraan dan anak masih belum bisa menggunakan lambang bilangan untuk menghitung, mencocokan bilangan dengan lambang bilangan, mengenal benda dalam bentuk gambar dan tulisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penerapan model pembelajaran area untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Metode yang di gunakan penelittian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Model tindakan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Ada 2 siklus dalam 2 pertemuan terdiri beberapa tahap antara lain : 1) Perencanaan 2) Pelaksanaan 3) Observasi 4) Refleksi . Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik yang berjumlah 9 peserta didik. Peran dan Posisi peneliti adalah Pelaksana Pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang dihasilkan menggunakan sistem triangulasi data. Berdasarkan prasiklus ada 9 anak belum ada yang menunjukan sangat baik, ada yang berkembang sesuai dengan harapan ada 2 anak 22% dan mulai berkembang ada 3 anak 33% dan yang belum berkembang ada 3 anak 33%. Pada siklus I dari 9 anak yang menunjukan belum berkembang ada 2 anak 22% dan yang mulai berkembang ada 3 anak 3% dan berkembang sesuai dengan harapan ada 4 anak 44% dan berkembang sangat baik belum ada. Pada siklus II dari 9 anak menunjukan yang belum berkembang tidak ada dan mulai berkembang tidak ada yang berkembang sesuai harapn ada 2 anak 22% dan berkembang sangat baik ada 7 anak 77,8%.Hal ini terlihat dari hasil observasimodel pembelajaran area. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran area sudah berkembang dengan baik dan dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif di Ra Al- Alim Lampung Selatan. This research aims to apply the area learning model to improve the cognitive abilities of young children. The method used in this research is the classroom action research method. The action model uses the Kemmis and Taggart model. There are 2 cycles in 2 meetings consisting of several stages, including: 1) Planning 2) Implementation 3) Observation 4) Reflection. The subjects in this research were all 9 students. The role and position of the researcher is the Learning Implementer. Data collection is carried out through observation and documentation. The data generated uses a data triangulation system. Based on the pre-cycle, there are 9 children who have not shown very well, there are those who are developing according to expectations, there are 2 children 22% and there are 3 children starting to develop 33% and there are 3 children 33% who have not yet developed. In the first cycle, of the 9 children who showed that they were not yet developing, there were 2 children, 22%, and those who were starting to develop, there were 3 children, 3% and they were developing according to expectations, there were 4 children, 44% and they were developing very well, none yet. In cycle II, 9 children showed that there were none that had not yet developed and were starting to develop, none of them developed according to expectations, there were 2 children 22% and there were 7 children developing very well, 77.8%. This can be seen from the results of observations of the area learning model. The results of this research show that the area learning model has developed well and can improve cognitive development in RA Al-Alim, South Lampung.
