Abstract

ABSTRAK Mahasiswa Dengan Tuntutan Serba Digital, Bagaimana Pengaruh Self-Efficacy dan Academic Performance Terhadap Digital Competence? Oleh : Puput Fitria Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara self-efficacy dan academic performance terhadap digital competence. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa/i aktif baik negeri maupun swasta dengan rentan usia 18 hingga 25 tahun, menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, menggunakan ponsel pintar atau laptop untuk menunjang kehidupan sehari-hari. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 402 responden. Hasil analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (SmartPLS 4.0) menunjukkan bahwa self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh positif langsung terhadap digital competence (DIGCOM), sementara academic performance memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap digital competence (DIGCOM). Selain itu, terdapat hubungan negatif antara self-efficacy dan academic performance. Hasil menunjukkan adanya mediasi signifikan dari academic performance dalam hubungan antara self�efficacy dan digital competence (DIGCOM). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada perkembangan ilmu pendidikan dan teknologi, serta memberikan wawasan bagi pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan dalam pengembangan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan tuntutan era digital, dan strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pencapaian akademik mahasiswa. Oleh : Puput Fitria This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-efficacy and academic performance on digital competence. The subjects of this study were all active students, both public and private, with a range of ages from 18 to 25 years old, using technology in the learning process, using smart phones or laptops to support daily life. This type of research uses quantitative methods. Sampling using purposive sampling method with a sample size of 402 respondents. The results of data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling software (SmartPLS 4.0) show that self-efficacy has a direct positive influence on digital competence (DIGCOM), while academic performance has a negative influence on DIGCOM. In addition, there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic performance. The results showed a significant mediation of academic performance in the relationship between self-efficacy and DIGCOM. This research is expected to contribute to the development of education and technology, as well as provide insights for educators and policy makers in curriculum development in accordance with the demands of the digital era, and learning strategies to improve student academic achievement.
