Abstract

ABSTRAK PERBEDAAN POLA ASUH PERMISIF DITINJAU DARI LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN ORANG TUA Oleh: Muhammad Reza Sitanggang Keluarga memiliki peran penting terutama orang tua untuk mengembangkan aspek psikososial anak, orang tua memberikan kehangatan, kenyamanan, cinta dan kasih sayang kepada anak sejak usia dini. Sehingga anak mampu mengembangkan rasa percaya pada lingkungannya dan tercapainya tahap-tahap perkembangan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan pola asuh permisif yang ditinjau dari latar belakang pendidikan orang tua. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat keluarga yang ada di Kelurahan Korpri Jaya Kecamatan Sukarame Kota Bandar Lampung yang mempunyai anak berusia 6-12 tahun dan orang tua berlatar pendidikan SD, SMP, SMA dan Sarjana S1. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis berupa one way anova dengan bantuan sofware SPSS 22.0 For Windows. Skala yang digunakan menggunakan skala pola asuh permisif dengan α = 0,922. Kategorisasi skor variabel pola asuh permisif berada di persentasi tinggi dengan skor 73 dari jumlah 100 responden atau 77%. Dalam uji asumsi variabel pola asuh permisif terdistribusi normal dilihat dari taraf signifikan sebesar 0.653 yang berarti p > 0.05, dan variabel pola asuh permisif dan variabel tingkat Pendidikan orang tua mendapatkan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,121. Maka hal itu menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan yang linier antara kedua variabel tersebut. Hasil analisis data menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada pola asuh permisif yang ditinjau dari latar belakang pendidikan orang tua dengan F = 158.839, dan p < .001. sumbangan efektif dari latar belakang orang tua yaitu sebesar 82,3% terhadap variabel pola asuh permisif dan 17,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. ABSTRACT DIFFERENCES IN PERMISSIVE PARENTING PATTERNS REVIEWED FROM THE EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF THE PARENTS By: Muhammad Reza Sitanggang The family has an important role, especially parents, in developing children's psychosocial aspects. Parents provide warmth, comfort, love and affection to children from an early age. So that children are able to develop a sense of trust in their environment and achieve the stages of development well. The aim of the research conducted by researchers was to determine whether or not there were differences in permissive parenting styles in terms of parents' educational background. The subjects in this research were family members in Korpri Jaya Village, Sukarame District, Bandar Lampung City who had children aged 6-12 years and whose parents had elementary, middle school, high school and bachelor's degrees. The research method carried out by researchers is a quantitative method with analysis techniques in the form of one way ANOVA with the help of SPSS 22.0 For Windows software. The scale used uses a permissive parenting style scale with α = 0.922. The score categorization of the permissive parenting pattern variable is in a high percentage with a score of 73 out of 100 respondents or 77%. In the assumption test, the permissive parenting pattern variable is normally distributed, seen from the significance level of 0.653, which means p > 0.05, and the permissive parenting pattern variable and the parent education level variable get a significant value of 0.121. So this shows that there is a linear relationship between these two variables. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant difference in permissive parenting styles in terms of parents' educational background with F = 158.839, and p < .001. The effective contribution of parental background is 82.3% of the permissive parenting variable and 17.7% is influenced by other factors.
