Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik kelas VIII.3 di SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung. Guru BK SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung belum pernah melakukan layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik game based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik game based learning terhadap minat belajar peserta didik atau konseli dalam sesi konseling kelompok serta mengatasi permasalahan mengenai rendahnya minat belajar melalui konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik game based learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pretest�Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII.3 di SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung yang memiliki minat belajar rendah dan sangat rendah. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Total Sampling, yang artinya seluruh anggota populasi digunakan pada sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa didapat nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,001 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik game based learning terhadap minat belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh antara variabel layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik game based learning dan minat belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Konseling Kelompok dengan Teknik Game Based Learning, Minat Belajar iv ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low interest in learning of students in class VIII.3 at SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung. BK teachers at SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung have never conducted group counseling services using game-based learning techniques. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling using game�based learning techniques on students' or counselees' interest in learning in group counseling sessions and overcome problems regarding low interest in learning through group counseling using game-based learning techniques. This research was conducted using quantitative methods and this research used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The population in this study were students of class VIII.3 at SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung who had low and very low interest in learning. The sampling technique used in this study is the Total Sampling technique, which means that all members of the population are used in the sample. Based on the results of the study, the results of the analysis show that the Sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference before and after group counseling services with game-based learning techniques on students' interest in learning. Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence between the variables of group counseling services with game-based learning techniques and students' interest in learning.
