Abstract

ABSTRAK Penulis mengambil judul “Kompetensi Profesional Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Dalam Pelaksanaan Program BK di SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi guru BK masih belum mengaplikasikan pendekatan konseling dalam proses layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam melaksanakan program BK di SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif. Adapun informan yang bersumber dari data primer dan sekunder dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah Wakil Kepala Bidang Kurikulum, Guru Wali Kelas, Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: guru Bimbingan dan Konseling memiliki kompetensi profesional yang sudah cukup baik, program layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang disusun juga sudah sesuai dengan kaidah program layanan yang seharusnya. Usaha yang dilakukan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling sudah terorganisir pada satuan layanan BK, walaupun terdapat program yang tidak terlaksana akibat kurang nya waktu yang diberikan untuk pelaksanaan program BK. Seminar, workshop, dan diskusi dengan sesama guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di seluruh Bandar Lampung merupakan kegiatan aktif guru Bimbingan dan Konseling guna menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan diri menjadi profesionalisme. Rekomendasi penelitian ini disampaikan kepada sekolah, guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, dan peneliti selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Profesional, Program Bimbingan dan Konseling. iv ABSTRACT The author took the title "Professional Competency of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Implementing the BK Program at SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung". This research is based on the background of guidance and counseling teachers who have not yet applied a counseling approach in the service process. This research aims to determine the professional competence of Guidance and Counseling teachers in implementing the BK program at SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung. This research is descriptive in nature and is a type of qualitative research. The informants sourced from primary and secondary data using data collection techniques in the form of Observation, Interviews and Documentation. Participants in this research were the Deputy Head of Curriculum, Homeroom Teacher, Guidance and Counseling Teacher. The results of this research show that: Guidance and Counseling teachers have quite good professional competence, the Guidance and Counseling service program prepared is also in accordance with the rules of what a service program should be. The efforts carried out by Guidance and Counseling teachers have been organized in the BK service unit, although there are programs that have not been implemented due to the lack of time given for implementing the BK program. Seminars, workshops and discussions with fellow Guidance and Counseling teachers throughout Bandar Lampung are active activities of Guidance and Counseling teachers to increase their insight and self-knowledge to become professionalism. Recommendations for this research are conveyed to schools, Guidance and Counseling teachers, and future researchers. Keywords: Professional Competency, Guidance and Counseling Program.
