Abstract

ABSTRAK Guru sebagai sosok yang memiliki peran penting dan faktor penentu dalam keberhasilan pendidikan dengan berbekal latar pendidikan yang dimilikinya pada dasarnya mereka telah memiliki potensi yang cukup tinggi untuk berkreasi dan meningkatkan kompetensinya agar menghasilkan kinerja yang baik, tetapi dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat faktor-faktor penghambat dalam upaya pengembangan berbagai potensi yang dimilikinya secara optimal. upaya mengatasi hambatan tersebut sangat diperlukan pembinaan secara kontinue dan berkesinambungan dengan program yang terarah dan sistematis bagi guru di madrasah. Kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor berperan dalam memberikan pengawasan, pengendalian, pembinaan, dan pengarahan. Kepala sekolah juga berperan sebagai pemberi contoh bagi guru dan stafnya di sekolah. Kepala sekolah harus memahami tugas dan kedudukan guru maupun staf yang dipimpinnya sehingga, pembinaan yang dilakukan berjalan dengan baik dan tidak membingungkan. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru di SD Negeri 1 dan 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh guru di SD Negeri 1 dan 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 59 orang. Kemudian penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan menggunakan kuisioner yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada para guru. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini mendukung hipotesis penelitian yakni supervisi akademik kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik. Supervisi akademik memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 57,1% terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru, sehingga sisanya 42,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor iii faktor lain. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai bahan evaluasi dan pertimbangan dalam mempertahankan dan memperbaiki pelaksanaan supervisi akademik yang mana dengan meningkatnya kualitas supervisi akademik oleh kepala sekolah maka kompetensi pedagogik guru guru di SD Negeri 1 dan 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung akan menjadi lebih baik pula Kata kunci: Supervisi Akademik, Kompetensi Pedagogik guru iv ABSTRACT Teachers as figures who have an important role and determining factor in educational success, armed with the educational background they have, basically have quite high potential to be creative and improve their competence in order to produce good performance, but in implementation there are inhibiting factors in development efforts. its various potentials optimally. The principal as a supervisor plays a role in providing supervision, control, coaching and direction. The principal also acts as an example for teachers and staff at school. The school principal must understand the duties and positions of the teachers and staff he leads so that the coaching carried out runs well and is not confusing. The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of the principal's academic supervision on increasing the pedagogical competence of teachers at SD Negeri 1 and 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a population of all teachers at SD Negeri 1 and 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung totaling 59 people. Then determine the sample using a saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection uses questionnaires that are distributed directly to teachers. The collected data was then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results of this study support the research hypothesis that the principal's academic supervision had a positive effect on improving pedagogical competence. Academic supervision accounted for 57.1% of the impact on enhancing teachers' pedagogical competence, while the remaining 42.9% was influenced by other factors. The findings of this study were valuable for assessing and enhancing the implementation of academic supervision. By enhancing the quality of academic supervision conducted by principals, the pedagogical competence of teachers in SD Negeri 1 and 2 Way Dadi Bandar Lampung will also improve.
