Abstract

ABSTRAK Klien eks pengguna narkoba memiliki berbagai permasalahan yang dialami seperti sulit beradaptasi di lingkungan rehabilitasi, malas-malasan menjalani kegiatan di tempat rehabilitasi, tidak disiplin, gampang emosi sehingga membuat hilangnya kesadaran diri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok dengan metode therapeutic community untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran diri klien eks pengguna narkoba di Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan sumber data pada penelitian ini dengan teknik purposive sampling. Total keseluruhan klien berjumlah 68 orang namun yang diperlukan Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang terdiri dari 4 klien eks pengguna narkoba, 1 Pembimbing atau pekerja sosial, dan 1 konselor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan program bimbingan kelompok dengan metode therapeutic community untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran diri klien eks pengguna narkoba di Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung telah dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu, 1) Perencanaan, kegiatan yang biasa dilaksanakan di Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung terdiri dari materi yang disampaikan yang sesuai masalah apa yang sedang dirasakan oleh klien serta waktu dan tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut. 2) Pelaksanaan ini terdapat beberapa tahapan yang terdiri dari Tahap Pembentukan, yaitu pengenalan antar anggota dalam kelompok. Tahap peralihan, yaitu konselor berperan aktif dengan menerapkan metode yaitu Therapeutic Community kepada klien, Adapun tahapannya yaitu Pembentukan Perilaku (Behavior management shaping), Pengendalian Emosi dan Psikologis (Emotional and Psychological), Pengembangan Pemikiran dan Kerohanian (Intelectual and Spiritual) dan Keterampilan Kerja dan Keterampilan Sosial (Vocational and Survival). Tahap Inti, yaitu mengidentifkasi masalah yang terjadi pada klien. Dalam metode therapeutic community beberapa tahapan yaitu Tahap Induction atau Intake Process (Proses Pengenalan atau Penerimaan ), Tahap Primary (Pelaksanaan), Tahap Re-Entry (Lanjutan) dan Tahap AfterCare (Bimbingan Lanjutan). Tahap Akhir yaitu akhir dari pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok tersebut. 3) Evaluasi yaitu konselor melakukan penilaian terhadap seluruh tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan bimbingan kelompok dengan metode therapeutic community yang sudah dilakukan oleh klien. Jadi, setelah melakukan bimbingan kelompok dengan metode therapeutic community untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran diri klien eks pengguna narkoba menunjukan terdapat beberapa perubahan meliputi perubahan sikap dan perilakunya, dan perubahan emosi . ABSTRACT Clients ex-drug users experience various problems, such as difficulty adapting to the rehabilitation environment, being lazy about carrying out activities in the rehabilitation center, being undisciplined, getting emotional easily, causing a loss of self awareness. The aim of this research is how to implement group guidance using the therapeutic community method to foster self-awareness in former drug user clients at the Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with the type of field research. This research uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Determining the data source in this research using purposive sampling technique. The total number of clients is 68 orang The primary data sources in this study were 6 people consisting of 4 former drug user clients, 1 mentor or social worker, and 1 counselor. The results of this research show that the implementation of the group guidance program using the therapeutic community method to foster self-awareness of former drug user clients at the Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung has been implemented through several stages, namely, 1) Planning, activities that are usually carried out at the Yayasan Sinar Jati Lampung consist of material that delivered according to the problem the client is experiencing as well as the time and place of carrying out the activity. 2) There are several stages in this implementation consisting of the Formation Stage, namely the introduction of members in the group. The transition stage, namely the counselor plays an active role by applying the method, namely Therapeutic Community, to clients. The stages are Behavior Management Shaping, Emotional and Psychological Control, Intellectual and Spiritual Development and Work Skills. Social Skills (Vocational and Survival). Core Stage, namely identifying problems that occur with clients. In the therapeutic community method there are several stages, namely the Induction or Intake Process Stage (Introduction or Acceptance Process), Primary Stage (Implementation), Re-Entry Stage (Continuation) and After Care Stage (Further Guidance). The final stage is the end of the implementation of the group guidance. 3) Evaluation, namely the counselor carries out an assessment of all stages of implementing group guidance activities using the therapeutic community method that have been carried out by the client. So, after carrying out group guidance using the therapeutic community method to raise self-awareness, former drug user clients showed that there were several changes including changes in attitudes and behavior, and changes in emotions.
