Abstract

ABSTRAK Konseling individu merupakan layanan konseling yang diselenggarakan oleh konselor terhadap konseli untuk mengentaskan suatu masalah yang dihadapi konseli, ada beberapa pendapat mengenai konseling individu yaitu menurut Prayitno dan Erman Amti, konseling individu adalah sebagai pelayanan khusus dalam hubungan langsung tatap muka antara konselor dan klien dalam hubungan itu dicermati dan diupayakan pengentasan masalahnya, semampu dengan kekuatan klien itu sendiri. Konseling dianggap sebagai upaya layanan yang paling utama dalam pelaksanaan fungsi pengentasan masalah klien. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana proses konseling Individu dengan pendekatan eksistensial humanistik dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa di MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung? Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui proses konseling Individu dengan pendekatan eksistensial humanistik dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa di MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dan sifat penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Sifat penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah deskriptif analisis. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik penentuan sumber data menggunakan purposive sampling, berjumlah 5 sumber data. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik sebuah kesimpulan yaitu bahwa layanan bimbingan konseling yang dilakukan oleh guru BK MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung, yaitu: Pada tahap ini juga konseli menyimpulkan hasil konseling dari awal adanya masalah sampai ditemukannya penyelesaian permasalahan. Sehingga, konseli memahami dengan cara apa mereka dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri siswa akan meningkat. Faktor penghambat dalam kegiatan konseling individu ini yaitu: Takut dan malu. Sedangkan faktor pendukung pada pelaksanaan konselig di sekolah ini, yaitu; ruangan cukup nyaman dan suasana kondusif. Kata Kunci: Konseling Individu, Eksistensiaal Humanistik, Percaya Diri. Counseling is considered the most important service effort in implementing the function of alleviating client problems. The formulation of the problem in this research is how does the individual counseling process with a humanistic existential approach increase students' self-confidence at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung? The aim of this research is to determine the individual counseling process with a humanistic existential approach in increasing students' self-confidence at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. This type of research uses field research and the nature of this research is descriptive. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. This type of research is field research. The nature of the research in this thesis is descriptive analysis. The research approach used by the author is a qualitative approach. The technique for determining data sources uses purposive sampling, totaling 5 data sources. The data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, a conclusion can be drawn, namely that the guidance and counseling services provided by the BK MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung teachers are: At this stage the counselee also concludes the results of the counseling from the beginning of the problem until the solution to the problem is found. So, clients understand how they can increase students' self-confidence. The inhibiting factors in individual counseling activities are: Fear and shame. Meanwhile, the supporting factors for the implementation of counseling in this school are; The room is quite comfortable and the atmosphere is conducive.
