Abstract

ABSTRAK Permainan (game) masih sering dipandang masyarakat sebagai media hiburan semata dibandingkan media pembelajaran. Kebanyakan peserta didik di sekolah berpikiran sama, karena mereka jarang menemukan permainan (game) sebagai alat atau media untuk memahami suatu materi pelajaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan game edukatif yang dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran untuk memperkaya wawasan pengetahuan dan variasi belajar sejarah kebudayaan Islam peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur dalam membuat game menggunakan RPG (Role playing game) Maker MV pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan produknya, dan mengetahui apakah produk ini dapat memperkaya pengetahuan peserta didik kelas V MIN 4 Way Kanan terhadap materi perang badar, uhud, dan khandaq. Pada tahap validasi media dan materi, telah dibagikan angket untuk melihat seberapa layak produk yang telah dibuat. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapat, kelayakan materi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84%. Sedangkan kelayakan media yang di validasi oleh ahli media mendapatkan persentase 80%, dan keduanya masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak. Dari data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran RPG (Role Playing Game) Maker MV pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam materi perang badar, uhud, dan khandaq berada pada tingkat kategori sangat layak. Setelah pre-test dilakukan terhadap peserta didik kelas V MIN 4 Way Kanan, diperolehlah jumlah skor dari 18 peserta didik sebesar 1130 (Seribu seratus tiga puluh) yang kemudian dibagi dengan jumlah seluruh peserta didik kelas V MIN 4 Way Kanan sebanyak 18 orang dan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 62,7 (Enam puluh dua koma tujuh). Dilanjutkan dengan post-test yang menggunakan subjek dan rumus penelitian yang sama, maka diperoleh jumlah skor sebesar 1445 (Seribu empat ratus empat puluh lima) dan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,2 (Delapan puluh koma dua). Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran RPG iii (Role Playing Game) Maker MV dapat memperkaya pengetahuan peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam khususnya materi perang badar, uhud, dan khandaq. Most students at school think the same way, because they rarely find games as a tool or medium for understanding subject matter. Therefore, it is necessary to develop educational games that can be used as learning media to increase students' learning knowledge and variety of learning. The aim of this development research is to describe the procedure for making a game using RPG (Role playing game) Maker MV in the history of Islamic culture subject, determine the level of feasibility of the product, and find out whether this product can increase the knowledge and variety of learning on fifth class of MIN 4 Way Kanan towards the battle of Badr, Uhud and Khandaq. At the media and material validation stage, a questionnaire was distributed to see how feasible the product that had been made was. Based on the results obtained, the feasibility of the material by material experts obtained a percentage of 84%. Meanwhile, the feasibility of the media validated by media experts received a percentage of 80%, and both were included in the very feasible category. From these data, it can be concluded that Maker MV's RPG (Role Playing Game) learning media product on the subject of history of Islamic culture, material on the Badr, Uhud and Khandaq wars, is at the very appropriate category level. After the pre-test was carried out on fifth class of MIN 4 Way Kanan students, the total score obtained from 18 students was 1130 (One thousand one hundred and thirty) which was then divided by the total number of 18 in fifth class of MIN 4 Way Kanan students and obtained a score. the average is 62.7 (Sixty two point seven). Followed by a post-test using the same subject and research formula, a total score of 1445 (One thousand four hundred and fourty five) was obtained and an average score of 80.2 (Eighty point two). From these data it can be concluded that the RPG (Role Playing Game) Maker MV learning media can increase students' knowledge and variety of learning of Islamic cultural history subjects, especially material on the Badr, Uhud and Khandaq wars. v Keywords: Development, Instructional Media, RPG Maker MV, Islamic Cultural History
