Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis penentuan jurusan matematika melalui minat, bakat dan kemampuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Analitic Hierarchy Process (AHP) terhadap minat, bakat dan kemampuan dalam menentukan jurusan Pendidikan Matematika pada siswa kelas XII SMAN 2 Liwa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Studi kasus merupakan metode yang diterapkan untuk memahami individu lebih mendalam dengan dipraktekkan secara integratif dan komprehensif. Peneliti mengambil sumber data primer yaitu datang langsung melakukan penelitian di kelas XII SMAN 2 Liwa sebanyak 30 siswa. Dalam mengambil data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah angket Analitic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil peelitian dan analisi data, dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan sebagai bahwa total keseluruhan hitungan bobot angket minat, bakat dan kemampuan (A1 - A30) memiliki nilai bobot di atas atau sama dengan 0,01. Oleh sebab itu, dapat diambil keputusan bahwa semua siswa (A1 - A30) dapat masuk pada jurusan pendidikan matematika. Akan tetapi, hasil keputusan berdasarkan minat, bakat dan kemampuan tersebut hanya sebagai rekomendasi untuk membantu siswa-siswi SMAN 2 Liwa dalam mengambil keputusan. Keputusan terakhir tetap berada pada siswa-siswi SMAN 2 Liwa. The purpose of this research is to find out how the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) learning model is applied to interests, talents and abilities in determining the Mathematics Education major for class XII students at SMAN 2 Liwa. This type of research is a case study. Case study is a method applied to understand individuals more deeply by practicing it in an integrative and comprehensive manner. Researchers took primary data sources, namely coming directly to conduct research in class XII of SMAN 2 Liwa as many as 30 students. In collecting research data, researchers used purposive sampling. The instruments in this research are the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) questionnaire and documentation. Based on the results of research and data analysis, a conclusion can be drawn that the total weight count of the interest, talent and ability questionnaire (A1 - A30) has a weight value above or equal to 0.01. Therefore, a decision can be taken that all students (A1 - A30) can enter the mathematics education department. However, the results of decisions based on interests, talents and abilities are only recommendations to help SMAN 2 Liwa students in making decisions.
