Abstract

ABSTRAK Industri merupakan suatu usaha dalam kegiatan pengolahan bahan mentah atau bahan setengah jadi agar dapat memberikan nilai tinggi serta manfaat bagi suatu masyarakat. Setiap pembangunan industri dimanapun dan kapanpun pasti akan menimbulkan dampak. Ketika suatu industri dapat menimbulkan suatu output. Disisi lain industri juga menimbulkan dampak seperti terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan, menyerap tenaga kerja dan mengurangi tingkat pengangguran dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat sekitar. Keberadaan industri tahu di desa Natar Induk diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat setempat, selain itu juga dapat membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru bagi masyarakat sekitar dan menciptakan peluang usaha lainnya dengan memanfaatkan limbah dari pengolahan tahu. Akan tetapi banyak keterkaitan antar kegiatan yang tidak melalui mekanisme pasar sehingga timbul berbagai macam masalah. Keterkaitan suatu kegiatan dengan kegiatan lain yang tidak melalui mekanisme pasar adalah apa yang disebut dengan eksternalitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksternalitas dari industri pengolahan tahu terhadap pendapatan masyarakat dan mengetahui bagaimana eksternalitas dari industri pengolahan tahu terhadap pendapatan masyarakat dalam perspektif ekonomi islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan industri pengolahan tahu di Desa Natar Induk Kecamatan Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan menimbulkan 2 macam eksternalitas, yaitu eksternalitas positif dan negatif. Industri Pengolahan tahu juga mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat setempat melalui eksternalitas positif industri pengolahan tahu dan industri pengolahan tahu dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat Desa Natar dengan halal dan juga thayib karena sudah sesuai dengan syariat Islam dan tidak adanya unsur yang dilarang dalam Islam.ABSTRACT Industry is a business that processes raw materials or semi-finished materials so that they can provide high value and benefits to a community. On the other hand, industry also has impacts such as opening up job opportunities, absorbing labor and reducing unemployment levels and increasing the income of local communities. The existence of the tofu industry in Natar Induk village can increase the income of the local community, apart from that it can also open up new job opportunities for the local community and create other business opportunities by utilizing waste from tofu processing. However, there are many links between activities that do not go through market mechanisms, so various kinds of problems arise. The linkage of an activity with other activities that does not go through market mechanisms is what is called an externality. The purpose of this research is to find out how the externalities of the tofu processing industry affect people's income and to find out how the externalities of the tofu processing industry affect people's income from an Islamic economic perspective. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, the data sources in this research were obtained through observations, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses descriptive methods. The results of this research show that the tofu processing industry in Natar Induk Village, Natar District, South Lampung Regency causes 2 types of externalities, namely positive and negative externalities. The tofu processing industry is also able to increase the income of the local community through the positive externalities of the tofu processing industry and the tofu processing industry can increase the income of the people of Natar Village by being halal and thayib because it is in accordance with Islamic law and there are no elements that are prohibited in Islam.
