Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja merupakan bagian dari usia perkembangan seorang anak yang rentan terpengaruhi oleh lingkungan, salah satunya lingkungan yang dapat menjerumuskan mereka pada kenakalan remaja. Sehingga orang tua memiliki peranan penting untuk menanggulangi permasalahan anak remajanya. Salah satu cara orang tua adalah dengan menerapkan komunikasi persuasif pada anaknya. Dari latar belakang tersebut, Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu, bagaimana tahapan-tahapan komunikasi persuasif orang tua dan anak dalam menanggulangi permasalahan remaja yang ada dikelurahan kuripan teluk betung barat Bandar Lampung? Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tahapan-tahapan komunikasi persuasif orang tua dan anak dalam menanggulangi permasalahan remaja di kelurahan kuripan teluk betung barat Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif, Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, sampel yang diperoleh berjumlah 5 (lima) orang dengan kriteria orang tua yang memiliki anak umur 14-18 tahun dan orang tua yang benar-benar memperhatikan anaknya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan fakta yang telah penulis dapatkan dari hasil penelitian, maka untuk melakukan komunikasi persuasif dalam menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut orang tua memiliki 3 (tiga) metode yang berbeda yang digunakan oleh setiap orang tua, diantaranya adalah Metode Ketauladanan, Metode Pembiasaan, dan Metode Nasihat. Proses komunikasi persuasif orang tua dan anak dalam menanggulangi permasalahan ada 5 (lima) tahapan yaitu, Tahapan pertama pemberian perhatian (attention), Tahapan Kedua dengan menumbuhkan minat (inters), Tahapan ketiga membangkitkan hasrat (desire), Tahapan Ke empat adalah menimbulkan keputusan (decision), Tahapan yang terakhir menghasilkan kegiatan (action). Proses komunikasi persuasif tersebut menjadikan remaja sebagai pribadi yang paham akan permasalahan-permasalahan remaja sehingga dapat terhindar dari permasalahan remaja yang akan dihadapinya. So parents have an important role to play in overcoming the problems of their teenage children. One way for parents is to apply persuasive communication to their children. From this background, the formulation of the problem in this research is, what are the stages of persuasive communication between parents and children in overcoming adolescent problems in the Kuripan Teluk Betung Barat sub-district, Bandar Lampung? The aim of this research is to determine the stages of persuasive communication between parents and children in overcoming adolescent problems in the Kuripan Teluk Betung Barat sub-district, Bandar Lampung. This research uses qualitative methods and this type of research uses descriptive field research. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The sample obtained is 5 (five) people with the criteria being parents who have children aged 14-18 years and people parents who really care about their children. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and verification. Based on the facts that the author has obtained from the research results, to carry out persuasive communication in overcoming these problems, parents have 3 (three) different methods used by each parent, including the Example Method, Habituation Method, and Advice Method. The process of persuasive communication between parents and children in overcoming problems has 5 (five) stages, namely, the first stage is giving attention, the second stage is by generating interest (inters), the third stage is generating desire, the fourth stage is generating a decision ( decision), the last stage produces activity (action). This persuasive communication process makes teenagers individuals who understand teenage problems so they can avoid the teenage problems they will face.
