Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi manajemen perpustakaan di SDIT Bustanul ‘Ulum Lampung Tengah, yang menjadi salah satu kunci dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengelolaan perpustakan yang meliputi pengembangan koleksi, pengolahan bahan pustaka, layanan perpustakaan, dan program kerja perpustakaan sekolah. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui praktik manajemen perpustakaan di SDIT Bustanul ‘Ulum Lampung Tengah. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tempat penelitian di SDIT Bustanul ‘Ulum Lampung Tengah dengan subjek penelitian atau narasumber, kepala sekolah, pustakawan, dan guru kelas. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam analisis data peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada uji keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan triangulasi sumber, guna memastikan bahwa informasi yang didapat adalah data yang valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, implementasi manajemen perpustakaan di SDIT Bustanul ‘Ulum Lampung Tegah sudah terlaksana dengan memperhatikan aspek pengelolaan perpustakaan, yaitu pengembengan koleksi, pengolahan bahan pustaka, layanan perpustakaan, dan program kerja perpustakaan sekolah. Yang pertama yaitu pengembangan koleksi yang dilaksanakan dengan melakukan beberapa tahapan seperti analisis pengguna perpustakaan, seleksi koleksi, pengadaan koleksi, penyiangan koleksi, dan evaluasi koleksi. Kemudian pengolahan bahan pustaka di perpustakaan SDIT Bustanul ‘Ulum selalu melakukan tahapan seperti, inventarisasi koleksi, katalogisasi bahan pustaka, klasifikasi bahan pustaka, dan pemeliharaan bahan pustaka. Selanjutnya layanan perpustakaan dilakukan oleh pustakawan langsung, layanan yang disediakan di perpustakaan sudah berjalan dengan maksimal seperti, layanan sirkulasi, layanan referensi, layanan membaca, layanan koleksi audiovisual, dan layanan story telling. Dan yang terakhir yaitu program kerja perpustakaan sekolah, Untuk program kerja perpustakaan yang saat ini dilakukan yaitu promosi perpustakaan, pembinaan minat baca, dan penerapan teknologi di perpustakaan. This research focuses on library management which includes collection development, library materials processing, library services, and school library work programs. The main objective of this research is to find out the library management practices at SDIT Bustanul 'Ulum Central Lampung. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The research place is SDIT Bustanul 'Ulum Central Lampung with research subjects or sources, principals, librarians, and class teachers. With data collection techniques using interview, observation, and documentation methods. In data analysis, researchers used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. In the data validity test, researchers used source triangulation to ensure that the information obtained was valid data. Based on the research results, the implementation of library management at SDIT Bustanul 'Ulum Lampung Tegah has been carried out by paying attention to aspects of library management, namely collection development, library material processing, library services, and school library work programs. The first is collection development which is carried out by carrying out several stages such as library user analysis, collection selection, collection procurement, collection weeding, and collection evaluation. Then the processing of library materials in the SDIT Bustanul 'Ulum library always carries out stages such as inventorying collections, cataloging library materials, classifying library materials, and maintaining library materials. Furthermore, library services at SDIT Bustanul 'Ulum are carried out by librarians directly, the services provided in the library have run optimally such as circulation services, reference services, reading services, audiovisual collection services, and story telling services. And the last is the school library work program, the library work program is prepared according to the vision and mission of the library. For the library work program that is currently being carried out, namely library promotion, fostering interest in reading, and implementing technology in the library.
