Abstract

ABSTRAK Miskonsepsi merupakan kesalahan konsep atau konsep yang tidak sesuai dengan para ahli. Miskonsepsi kategori sedang masih kerap terjadi pada peserta didik kelas VIII, terjadinya miskonsepsi juga disebabkan oleh kemampuan self regulation yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Conceptual Change dengan konflik kognitif terhadap miskonsepsi dan self regulation peserta didik kelas VIII dalam mata pelajaran IPA, hal ini disebakan adanya miskonsepsi pada siswa ketika peneliti melakukan pra pEnelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode penelitian ksperimen semu (quasy-experiment) dengan desain pre-test post-test control group. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII MTSN 2 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sampel yang diambil dari penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan soal dengan materi Sistem Pernapasan dan nontes yaitu angket yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji statistik menunjukkan data perbedaan miskonsepsi pada kelas eksperimen 40% menjadi 18% dan kelas kontrol 42% menjadi 33% sedangkan self regulation pada kelas eksperimen 56% (kurang ) menjadi 66% (cukup) dan kelas control 58% (kurang) menjadi 59% (cukup). Adanya pengaruh juga terlihat dari uji hipotesis yakni memperoleh nilai signifikasi uji t yaitu 0.00 yang berarti nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0.05 ( 0.00>0.05) dengan demikian artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan demikian penelitian ini menjawab rumusan masalah yang ditentukan. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Model Conceptual Change, Self Regulation, Sistem Pernapasan. iii ABSTRACT Misconceptions are conceptual errors or concepts that are not in accordance with experts. The moderate misconception category still often occurs in class VIII students, the occurrence of misconceptions is also caused by low self-regulation abilities. This research aims to determine the influence of applying the Conceptual Change learning model with cognitive conflict on misconceptions and self-regulation of eighth-grade students in the subject of Science, as misconceptions were observed in students during the pre-research phase. The study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method with a pre�test post-test control group design. The population in this study consists of all eighth-grade students at MTSN 2 Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2023/2024. The sample consists of two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sampling technique employed in this study is cluster random sampling. The research instruments include test questions on the Respiratory System and a non-test instrument, which is a validated questionnaire. The data analysis results using statistical tests show a difference in misconceptions in the experimental class, decreasing from 40% to 18%, and in the control class, decreasing from 42% to 33%. In terms of self-regulation, the experimental class shows an increase from 56% (insufficient) to 66% (sufficient), while the control class increases from 58% (insufficient) to 59% (sufficient). The hypothesis testing also reveals a significant influence, with a t-test significance value of 0.00, which is less than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), indicating the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1.
