Abstract

ABSTRAK Ketatnya persaingan didunia pendidikan saat ini, sehingga sekolah berlomba untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan disekolah agar dapat bersaing dengan sekolah sekolah yang lain, khususnya di SMA Swasta Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha daerah Lampung Tengah. Untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tentu tidak terlepas dari gaya kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah, pola yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam memimpin suatu lembaga pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan mampu mempengaruhi para pendidik untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja nya. Salah satunya dengan memberikan contoh yang baik kepada para guru, memberikan dorongan atau motivasi, dan komunikasi yang baik antar kepala sekolah dan guru. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam Skripsi ini adalah pengaruh dari gaya kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMAS Bustanul Ulum anak tuha lampung tengah. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Swasta bustanul ulum anak tuha lampung tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dimana jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 dewan guru dan sampel berjumlah 30 orang dewan guru SMAS Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha Lampung Tengah serta untuk uji coba pada penelitian ini 30 orang diluar sampel penelitian yakni dewan guru MA Swasta Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha Lampung Tengah. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan angket. Angket dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu angket untuk mengungkap tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan angket untuk mengungkap kinerja guru. Teknik pengukuh data dalam penilitian ini ada 3 yaitu uji normalitas, linieritas, dan homogenitas data, Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk uji hipotesis adalah uji regresi sederhana dan ujisig. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMAS Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha Lampung Tengah, hasil ini ditunjukkan pada nilai konstanta sebesar 147.632 mengindikasikan bahwa jika variabel dependent yaitu kinerja guru ( iv Y) adalah nol maka kinerja guru adalah konstanta yaitu 147.632%. Nilai koefisien gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebesar 0, 368 maka mengartikan bahwa peningkatan kepemimpinan dalam satu satuan angka akan mengakibatkan kenaikan kinerja guru sebesar 0,368% dengan asumsi variabel lain konstan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif secara signifikan variabel gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru dikarenakan nilai P-value sebesar 0,001<0,05. Adapun R Square adalah 0,039 atau sebesar 39%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa besarnya pengaruh variabel x yaitu gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan variabel y yaitu kinerja guru sebesar 39% sedangkan sisanya 61% ditentukan oleh faktor lain diluar model yang tidak terdeteksi dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci : gaya kepemimpinan, kinerja guru, hasil, kuantitatif v ABSTRACT Competition is tight in the world of education today, so schools are competing to improve the quality of education in schools so they can compete with other schools, especially at Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha Private High School in the Central Lampung area. Improving the quality of education certainly cannot be separated from the leadership style of a school principal, the pattern used by the principal in leading an educational institution to achieve educational goals and being able to influence educators to improve their performance. One of them is by providing a good example to teachers, providing encouragement or motivation, and good communication between school principals and teachers. The problem studied in this thesis is the influence of a school principal's leadership style on teacher performance at SMAS Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha, Central Lampung. This aims to find out whether there is an influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance at Bustanul Ulum Private High School Anak Tuha, Central Lampung. This research is a quantitative research where the population in this study is 30 teachers and the sample is 30 teachers from SMAS Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha, Central Lampung and for the trial in this study 30 people outside the research sample are the teachers from the Private MA Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha. Central Lampung. The data in this research was taken using a questionnaire. The questionnaire was divided into 2, namely a questionnaire to reveal the leadership style of the school principal and a questionnaire to reveal teacher performance. There are 3 data confirmation techniques in this research, namely normality, linearity and data homogeneity tests. Meanwhile, the analysis techniques used to test hypotheses are simple regression tests and sig tests. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between the principal's leadership style and teacher performance at SMAS Bustanul Ulum Anak Tuha, Central Lampung. This result is shown in a constant value of 147.632, indicating that if the dependent variable, namely teacher performance (Y), is zero, then teacher performance is a constant, namely 147.632%. The principal's leadership style coefficient value is 0.368, meaning that an increase in vi leadership in one numerical unit will result in an increase in teacher performance of 0.368% assuming other variables are constant. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence on the principal leadership style variable and teacher performance due to the P-value of 0.001<0.05. The R Square is 0.039 or 39%. This indicates that the magnitude of the influence of variable x, namely the leadership style of the principal and variable y, namely teacher performance, is 39%, while the remaining 61% is determined by other factors outside the model which were not detected in this research.
