Abstract

ABSTRAK Peranan Kepala Madrasah sebagai leader merupakan seorang pemimpin Kepala Madrasah berfungsi menggerakkan semua potensi madrasah khususnya tenaga pendidik bagi pencapaian tujuan madrasah sudah terlaksana. Kepala Madrasah harus berusaha untuk menjadi sosok yang ideal, berjiwa besar, dan dapat dipercaya, menghindarkan diri dari sikap dan perbuatan yang memaksa atau bertindak keras sehingga mampu dijadikan oleh para guru, staf dan peserta didik. Peranan kepala madrasah sangat penting bagi kompetensi seorang tenaga pendidik, baik kompetensi dalam hal pengetahuan guru maupun kemampuan dalam mengajar seorang guru sehingga dapat menghasilkan tujuan pembelajaran yang maksimal. Atas dasar itu maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini antara lain: 1) Bagaimana peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam membantu tenaga pendidik menguasai bahan pelajaran di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 2) Bagaimana peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam membantu tenaga pendidik mengelola program belajar mengajar di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 3) Bagaimana peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam membantu tenaga pendidik melaksanakan program pengajaran di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 4) Bagaimana peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam membantu tenaga pendidik menilai hasil proses belajar mengajar yang telah di laksanakan di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 5) Bagaimana peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam membantu tenaga pendidik menguasai landasan pendidikan di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional tenaga pendidik MTS Daarul Ikrom Kedondong. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala madrasah sebagai leader dalam meningkatkan kompetensi di MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong sudah berperan dengan baik ini ditunjukkan dengan kepala sekolah melakukan pelatihan dan pengembangan, melaksanakn program dan melakukan evaluasi dan iii modifikasi pelatihan dan pengembangan. Selain itu kepala madrasah sebagai leader melakukan suatu pengarahan sampai dengan pengawasan terhadap tenaga pendidik sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. The Madrasah Head functions to mobilize all the potential of the Madrasah, especially educators, to achieve the objectives of the Madrasah that have been implemented. The head of the Madrasah must try to be an ideal figure, big-hearted, and trustworthy, avoiding attitudes and actions that force or act hard so that teachers, staff and students can make them. The role of the madrasa head is very important for the competence of an educator, both competence in terms of teacher knowledge and the ability to teach a teacher so that it can produce maximum learning objectives. On this basis, the problem formulation in this research includes: 1) What is the role of the madrasa head as a leader in helping teaching staff master the learning materials at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 2) What is the role of the madrasa head as a leader in helping teaching staff manage the teaching and learning program at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 3) What is the role of the madrasa head as a leader in helping teaching staff implement the teaching program at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 4) What is the role of the madrasa head as a leader in helping teaching staff assess the results of the teaching and learning process that has been implemented at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? 5) What is the role of the madrasa head as a leader in helping teaching staff master the educational foundations at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong? The aim of this research is to determine the role of the madrasa head as a leader in improving the professional competence of MTS Daarul Ikrom Kedondong teaching staff. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the role of the madrasa head as a leader in improving competence at MTs Daarul Ikrom Kedondong has played a good role, this is shown by the school head carrying out training and development, implementing programs and carrying out evaluations and modifications to training and development. Apart from that, the madrasa head as the leader carries v out direction and supervision of teaching staff in accordance with existing procedures. Keywords: Head of Madrasah, Competence of Educators
