Abstract

ABSTRAK Peserta didik memerlukan kemampuan higher order thinking skill (HOTS) dan kreativitas supaya mampu bersaing di era revolusi 4.0. Hasil observasi dan pra penelitian di SMPN 36 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan bahwa HOTS dan kreativitas peserta didik dalam kategori rendah. RADEC (read, answer, disscuss, explain, and create) merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan HOTS dan kreativitas peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model RADEC berbantuan liveworksheets terhadap higher order thinking skill (HOTS) dan kreativitas peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasy eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretes-postes control grup design. Populasi penelitan yaitu seluruh siswa di SMPN 36 Bandar Lampung dengan teknik sampling yaitu cluster random sampling yang menghasilkan sampel yaitu kelas VIII 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tes multiple choice HOTS, angket dan lembar observasi kreativitas peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh model RADEC berbantuan liveworksheets terhadap higher order thinking skill (HOTS) peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia dengan nilai sig. p-value 0,00<0,05; 2) terdapat pengaruh model RADEC berbantuan liveworksheets terhadap kreativitas peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia dengan nilai sig. p-value 0,00<0,05. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC dapat meningkatkan HOTS dan kreativitas peserta didik. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of the RADEC model assisted by live worksheets on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and students' creativity in the human digestive system material. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was all students at SMPN 36 Bandar Lampung with a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling which produced samples namely class VIII 1 as the experimental class and VIII 3 as the control class. The research instruments used included the HOTS multiple choice test, questionnaires and student creativity observation sheets. The data analysis used is the normality test, homogeneity test and independent sample t-test. The research results show that 1) there is an influence of the RADEC model assisted by live worksheets on students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in the human digestive system material with a value of sig. p-value 0.00<0.05; 2) there is an influence of the RADEC model assisted by live worksheets on students' creativity in the human digestive system material with a sig value. p-value 0.00<0.05.
