Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL INKUIRI BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIDEO TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI 1 MERBAU MATARAM LAMPUNG SELATAN Khumairatun Azizah Skripsi ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang menggambarkan pengaruh model inquiri berbantuan media video terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Merbau Mataram Lampung Selatan. Pembelajaran ini menggkolaboraasi antara pembelajaran inquiri dengan bantuan media video, dimana pada penelitian ini kegiatan belajar melibatkan seluruh kemampuan siswa untuk mencari dan menyelidiki secara sistematis, kritis, logis, analisis, sehinggga siswa dapat merumuskan sendiri penemuannya dengan penuh percaya diri. Media pendukung dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan media audio visual yang menampilkan gambar dan suara. Pesan yang disajikan bisa berupa fakta (kejadian, peristiwa penting, berita) maupun fiktif (misalnya cerita), bisa bersifat informatif, edukatif, maupun instruksional. Penelitian ini membuktikan metode inquiri dengan media video dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil beajar peserta didik, sehingga dalam proses pembelajarannya peserta didik dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menyenangkan dan memperoleh nilai yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan design Quasy experiment design dengan rancangan Pretest-Postest Control Group Design dengan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dalam penelitian ini terdapat kelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada metode inquiri berbantuan media video terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Merbau Mataram Lampung Selatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil yang diperoleh dari uji-t dengan hasil signifikansi pada nilai posttest diperoleh 0,000 dimana lebih kecil dari 0,05 dengan kesimpulan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 artinya H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kata kunci: Metode inquiri, dan hasil belajar peserta didik iii ABSTRACT This thesis is the result of research that describes the influence of the video media-assisted inquiry model on grade IV science learning outcomes at SD Negeri 1 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung. This learning combines inquiry learning with the help of video media, where in this research learning activities involve all students' abilities to search and investigate systematically, critically, logically, analytically, so that students can formulate their own findings with full confidence. The supporting media in this research is audio-visual media which displays images and sound. The messages presented can be factual (events, important events, news) or fictional (for example stories), can be informative, educational or instructional. This research proves that the inquiry method using video media can help improve student learning outcomes, so that in the learning process students can participate in learning with fun and get better grades. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The type of research carried out was quantitative research with a Quasy experiment design with a Pretest�Posttest Control Group Design with an experimental class and a control class, in this research there was a control class and an experimental class. The results of the research conducted by the author show that there is a significant influence on the video media-assisted inquiry method on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 1 Merbau Mataram, South Lampung. This is shown from the results obtained from the t-test with the significance results in the posttest value obtained being 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 with the conclusion of the sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
